So Portland now has the national media putting out articles talking about how this is hurting us more than Portland? LOL
#HEATLifer #VFL
You're welcome LeBron.
Tyler Herro is a TURD.
Bam is NOT elite but is getting better.
Fire Spoelstra!
Josh Heupel is coming for you.
I’m a proud admirer and lover of BBWs!

Step 1. get the national media and Portland fans onboard to make Dame Lillard the villain. (Hasn't worked outside of few people).
Step 2. call around the legue to other front offices and drum up a bidding war to raise Lillard's value (no official offers, nobody willing to risk assets for a player who only wants to go to Miami).
Step 3. use media to sensationalize outside offers more prominent than Miami's to drive up price, and help drive up Miami's offer. (Keeps getting reported how ridiculous some articles are, and national media quickly shut down these fantasy trades that don't exist).
Step 4. last resort, use national media to push narrative that playing the waiting game is detrimental to Miami's eventual championship aspirations even if they get Lillard, by missing out on this prominent super minimum free agents. (Were here at this point).
Step 5. Eventually give in and just end this madness. (what Miami fans want, what Portland fans need, what other franchises are afraid of).

To be fair, you haven't stopped them from continuing to do so lol. I do think it's silly that your posting is the excuse they give to ramp up Bam hate. That's kinda sad imo
You can either let the false inflation and propaganda run rampant… or provide counter arguments and evidence that shows that said player is indeed with flaws and in need of improvement in aspects of his game. Critique is not a bad thing. Problem is that criticism of Bam was taken as hate and that we thought Bam sucked….
3Bammy’s posts are cause for discussion… hmm… what a novelty in a forum?! He brings life and momentum to the forum. Personal attacks and extremist(and overtly defensive) takes when it comes to Bam are not always good for discussion. Most other takes are actually fairly healthy by 3ammy… and his daydreaming of Dame for months was fun… and perhaps now even coming to fruition!
I did not realize that pointing out areas for improvement and criticism of aspects of a players game are generalized as hate? And I didn’t realize that a forum was not intended to be based on discussion… must have gotten the situation and purpose of this forum all wrong… thanks for clarifying Greg! I have been enlightened by the sad nature of these discussions.

If you all let me effect your opinion that much you’re pretty weak minded and can think for yourself tbh. I’ve never claimed Bam is a top 10 player although he has that potential. He’s been better for us than Bosh was and he’s improved every season if his career. I wouldn’t have started defending it so much if the takes I was seeing weren’t so outlandish. He’s top 20 and improving.
These are the type statements that get you in trouble in here… you turn a difference of opinion into outlandish personal attacks without a base. Its your MO.
Bam still has not proven to be the godly player you made him out to be… but played above the level many of us were asking him to play. Again… his reality is in the middle… rather than accepting that, you continue to attack those who oppose your opinion. Not sure what makes for a weak minded response… but responding with facts and confidence is not it. Perhaps personal attacks is?
In trouble? With who? With what?
I’m just saying in general, if someone’s going to be that influenced by what I say they’re weak minded. It is what it is.
Let me hear how godly I say Bam is. He’s top 20, he’s the best defender in the world, he’s one of the best playmaking bigs, hes the 3rd best center in the league, he’s expanded his scoring game every season of his career and will likely continue to do so, he’s the engine of this team of both ends of the court.
That’s how I view him; which one of those takes are just completely outlandish to where I’m pretending he’s a god?
I see you have settled down a bit on your more extreme evaluations of Bam… guess our criticism of Bam has indeed helped lower your evaluation. Either that, or you are conveniently portraying a less than extremist take right now to serve your argument.
I won’t waste my time going back to show evidence of your extremist takes… and will take this deflated version as a sign that we have each helped shed light on Bam’s ability and potential for this team.

Brother I myself say Bam needs to improve in areas and critique his game on where I want to see improvement in skill and even decision making. I’m speaking on the absolute nonsense we see on here sometimes, you haven’t been active for majority of it.
If you took the “weak minded” comment as a personal attack then that’s my bad, I forget it’s 2023 sometimes

My stance hasn’t changed, nothing has switched up from the start. You must’ve just misunderstood. Again if you can show me some crazy outlandish takes I’ve had I’d love to see them and discuss them and put it into context.

Guys...... I decided to look around at other teams forums...... and Almost instantly found this gem. This is single-handedly the most delusional/emotional trade response I have ever seen. My God I am dehydrated from just reading this salty shite.
"not enough Miami skin in the game. The Heat need to work at the trade and pay as much thru the nose as they can
* first thing, they need to make an arrangement to OKC to free up their 2025 1st. I think that's available because I'm sure OKC would prefer the Miami unprotected 2026 pick to the lottery protected 2025 pick. That would free up Miami's 2024 first round pick
* Miami has to give up Caleb Martin. I'm not desperately wanting him for Portland but he is a 6'7 serviceable wing who plays defense, and he's on a tradable contract. Asset value
* Portland gets a swap of Miami's 2029 first
so it would be
Dame + Nurkic out
Lowry + Olynyk + Martin + Jaquez + Jovic + Horton-Tucker (if necessary...might not be)
+ 2024 Miami 1st + 202? Minny 1st + 2028 Miami 1st + 2029 Miam1 1st (swap) + 2030 Miami 1st
if Martin going to another team could fetch Portland more draft capital, that's fine; same with Horton-Tucker. But they'd both have decent value at the trade deadline"

Miami’s getting off easy in that deal. I would $hitcan Wizenheimer if he worked for me.

We literally couldn’t afford our own free agents. What are they even going on about?

So essentially 7 picks (Jovic and JJ included) + Martin, plus salary relief that comes with offloading Nurkic+ Lowry’s expiring.
I didn’t know we were trying to trade for Prime Lebron.

Lol this stuff cracks me up. Taurean Prince is basically a Miami version of Trevor Ariza level player. Sometimes people just want to freak out.

We aint missing out on anybody.
Strus played well for about five games last year. Will we mourn his loss?
Gabe was solid but commanded more than we could afford. With the difference in state taxes, Id say he just really wanted to go home.
We are trying to add a legendary scorer to a team that couldnt score to save its life. HE will replace Gabe.
Jaquez, Jovic, Herro, Omer and Strus didnt even play in the playoffs. Yet we still made the Finals.
We would basically be swapping Gabe for Lillard....

Unreal…we missed out on some minimum players….we could’ve signed them just like we did J-Rich…we didn’t miss out on them. The Heat or the player chose not to pursue it.
