Good game again tonight. Without Ivey, Ausar played well. The guy continues to feel the stat sheet up and looks like Troy made a good decision with the 5th pick.

Not sure what's going on with Sasser's jumper. 1-8 from 3? Sheesh!

Ausar is going to be a good wing defender on day one. That’s pretty awesome.

Ausar looking better then expected esp on defense. If the 3pter comes around hes going to be a baller.

Ausar has exceeded my expectations so far. His defense,IQ,playmaking, rebounding, and hustle are things that will help out the team right away. If he ever becomes a good shooter he might be a star in this league.

Weaver was smart to bottom out for that worst record. Looks like he seen a top 5 in talent even if he missed out on Wemby.

I wonder how far up he had the Twins on his board.

It's likely that the twins are going to want to reunite at some point, so It's not too early to start formulating a plan (however unlikely) to get them together in Detroit.

OMG if they both reached their potential together. :D

Things can always change but at least last year it sounded as if the atmosphere in the Rockets locker room was... less than ideal.

They then add to that Dillon Brooks, FVV, Udoka and a whole lot of expectations to be significantly better this year. They could do it. Or they could falter badly.

If it's the latter we might not have to do anything but wait.

Weaver did mention that Ausar was high on his board and he felt lucky he was still there at #5. Sounds like he knew right away he was going to take one of the twins, but perhaps by the sounds of it Ausar was higher than 5th on his board. I could see him being as high as 3rd after VW and Scoot I'd be surprised if he was higher than that.

I'd imagine given the whole "high character" thing he's preached at every opportunity the board likely was Wemby, Scoot, the twins and Miller might not have even been 5 given his situation.

It's only SL but Ausar does seem to fill the stat sheet and his BBIQ is a lot better than I thought it would be.

Fingers crossed they lock him in the gym and get him to make 500 3s and 300 mids a day up until training camp

Looks like their hometown is California.

Stay away Lakers!!! We'll just have to trade for one before they both hit UFA in the next 9 years.

Wondering if he plays tomorrow. Seems like a lot of teams are sitting their top picks now in the final game

what's the over/under on how long it takes someone to ask weaver which twin he would've taken if we had the 4th pick?

if it was up to ausar i'm sure he'd play but seeing how many top guys are already held out for injury or to prevent injury i'd imagine the team wants him to sit. he's already proven he is a calibre of the rest of the guys on the floor.

Say that’s a good sign. I know he had some misses but some nice hits low in draft

Congrats, guys. You officially have yet another young stud for the core.

Cade, Ausur and Jalen Duren are an amazing collection of young talent.
