I missed a lot of the Nets game but watching these clips it just occurred to me that MarJon must have pulled a Brandon Knight on the last one.

As, I wrote in the game 4 thread, he surely can pass.
But he didn't have a good connection with those guys.

Possibly because they were together just a few days. The other guys were not expecting the pass, or had Thon hands. Also sometimes his short pass looked like he was initiating a curl action but the player receiving the ball had no idea.

The first one to Green in the corner is legitimately Jokic-like. Falling away on the baseline and hits him perfectly in the hands as he's going up into his shooting motion. Those kind of passes are going to look so much better when he's hitting Pat in the corner or Giannis on the fastbreak instead of AJ and Marjon respectively.
