It would sorta be like us pairing Towns with Capela i don't see that working out to well. Which is why Capela has to go in any trade we do for a player like Kat. Plus yall gave good money to another 3rd big thats making solid money as well now who is a good player in Naz. If Rudy was on a different team and yall had a different position player making that same amount of money i don't think yall would have a issue at all paying 3 big contracts.
Interesting, from the highlights, he looks like a better version of Vanderbilt. If you trade for Towns, that is the guy you want to keep. I actually think Capela/Towns is a good combo also. Is JJ or Bey ever going to be an all star? Murray + ( JJ or Bogdanovic) for Towns is more interesting to me.
Also, Twolves doesn't need cap relieve as much as people think. Maybe Hawks should contact Suns for KD's availability first, they are in more cap + picks trouble than Wolves. I also don't see KD working with Ayton. Ayton has no trade value, so they need to trade KD before his value drops next year.

To me Capela and Kat would have the same issues as Rudy and Kat. Without Rudy or Capela being able to stretch the floor at all you kill pretty much half of KATs effectiveness and do exactly what was done to John Collins. You literally force him to be a spot up shooter and hang out at the 3 point line most the time.
Onyeka has a much better shot than capela or Rudy away from the basket and can usually hit from distance at a ok clip. He is even stretching it out to the 3 point line and doing ok out there at times. Then you add in that OO is a very good defensive player and does better than most against a guy like Giannis and he is extremely valuable for us to put next to a guy like KAT. Atleast with OO he can pull ppl away from the basket as well for KAT to work inside when he needs to to unleash his complete game.
As for Jalen johnson i never thought about the Vanderbilt comparison but i could see it i think. I always put him in the Josh Smith / Aaron Gordon type of mold. With upside good athleticism for his size and sneaky good handles and passing ability for a big.
Bey im much more willing to move on from thats no problem for me i would let go of Capela and bey in a package all day long if anyone wanted them to help get a much better player back. JJ i have more confidence in being a all star quality player in the end than bey would be if i was betting on upside. Bogi and Hunter im not against moving in trades as well i don't hate them as players but i don't love them either. AJ, JJ, OO, and a new guy named Mohammad Gueye we just drafted are the guys i really want to hold on to if possible in trades.
