I understand that, but unless Boston makes a trade, they can't sign anyone for more than the minimum and stay under the 2nd apron. That is about the best they can get without a trade, and I don't see one coming.

We'll see what the next wave of free agent signings look like. I do hope they hit the exhibit 10's hard after summer league. I mean, they may want to ink Charlie Brown Jr. tonight.

Champagnie really can't create anything off the dribble..Can at least hit shots a little bit off the catch..

There's a reason why none of these guys are locks at roster spots lol. Or are at best 13th-15th guys.

If Azubuike don't have the ball in the low post against a smaller player, he can't do much. On defense, he really doesn't have a clue. He is heading to China on the next flight out of Vegas.

Yeah his feel for the game/instincts/vision isn't great, especially for a PG..

Sure. But he's only 20, has some talent and upside. And we have 3 2-way spots to fill. I doubt we find 3 guys who are better to put in that spot than him.

2-ways make barely any money and there's 15 guys ahead of them on the celtics depth chart. so there's basically nothing to lose by keeping JD in that spot.
