Did Chris actually have a good game? I missed the game, just looking at the box score.

Dre Jack with 4 steals and 4 turnovers, how did he look? Any chance the plan with Dre Jack is to beef him up and have him be like a Draymond Green type?

I thought so, seemed to be playing with more confidence/poise than the earlier games on offense, and played some solid, in-control defense all game. Competed for every rebound and loose ball. He and Moore were the only ones who acquitted themselves.

Dre was a bit overagressive but I like that little push shot that he has from just inside the free throw line. Made some nice passes that Fall bungled.

It’s the closest the dude will ever get to playing in an actual NBA game. Gotta give him credit for not passing up even one possible look.

You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. He only missed 82% of the shots he did take, so he came out ahead by 18%. That’s spells disaster for Samoa Joe at Sacrifice.

Gave up with the terrible stream quality and that guard who wouldn't stop bricking. Good to see Moore show some stuff, Livingston looks like a nice long term cheap investment and AJJ will look a lot better playing with basketballers.

From what I saw none of Marjon, AJJ, Livingston, Moore, AJG looked outright terrible. Which I told is the bar to clear here.

Suboptimal that Marjon went from looking really good to struggling to score. But nice that Livingston and Moore seemed to gain confidence each game.

The guys that truly stunk for them (Tacko, Nico, Randall) were not guys they had high hopes for. Not sure why those guys got the minutes and shots they did but I’m sure they Herd will make more effort to get PT and experience for AJJ, Moore, and Livingston. And I’m hopefully the new coach will find a consistent role for AJG and Marjon so they can find out if they can really contribute.

I truly think some of the off-season posting when we know we are bad is some of our best posting.imo

Happy to defer to chones here.

As to your first point, you make it with your last paragraph. Bad players look terrible, but not all is lost if our young players don't dominate.

Nice to see Livingston improve each game, great value at the 58th pick.

Omari is so smooth, getting LeVert vibes. Another great value pick as a 2w.

I love watching Gort but I think they benched him as he was too risky on D try to grab the steal and too many turnover mistakes. Good thing is both these are fixable.

Dre still flashed huge upside, as mentioned above he needs the right personel around him.

Livingston beats people off the dribble with ease, it was cool to see him have a game with more touches so he could display more of that.

He looks completely different from his time at Kentucky. He's leaner and has a better handle. The shooting development will make our break him as a player, but as a 19 year old, he has time for that to develop.
