5:30pm ET (which probably means 6pm)

Last game before anything happens for quite a while.

Ausar has more than earned a break but would still be pretty interested in seeing him suit up for one final game before we enter the basketball wilderness for the next few months.

If Ausar isn't playing, I'll probably zone out most of the game. But in any scenario, it would be nice for Sasser to have a good game for confidence leading up to training camp. The guys who call the games seem to think he'll be a decent player.

I was thinking we were done after four games. Would love to see Ausar roll that momentum into another strong performance hopefully they let him play the last one.

I was shocked he played the last game to be honest, but he seems to absolutely love basketball (refreshing)so I would be surprised if he doesn't play now.

With that said, he did seem to be getting muscle cramps at several points during the last game, so he probably won't play.

Either way, its going to be a long 3ish months.

It's nuts that teams shut down rookies in summer league now. This isn't a 35 yr old vet playing back to backs. These are 19-20 yr old kids with a day off between games.

I think he plays. Not unheard of for a top rookie to play 5 games. Chet did last year.

I get that Sasser isn't a PG, but his handles are really poor. He dribbles like a PF, way to high.

Hopefully his shot comes around, because this game is barely watchable as is.

They just listed Hampton on our roster -- didn't we waive him?

Yeah, Weaver just confirmed my belief, they expect a strong step forward this year.

If the team is in the lottery again(top)something went horribly wrong.

I didn't even realize the Pistons had a fifth game. Why was that a mystery? I just saw a few minutes - enough time to see Sasser score five points. I'd say he got his confidence booster, but I hope he can be comfortable with a defined role come training camp. The whole handle ain't great probably won't matter in terms of what Pistons want from him anyway.

We expected one last year too. And probably the year before too.

They’re not going to say otherwise before the season starts.

And I’m sure they have meant it all those years too. I don’t think they go in expecting to tank.
