People taking home run laps after a SL where Amen played a single half is mind boggling.

Perhaps to a novice scout it is.

It sure wasn't difficult for Troy Weaver or Rafael Stone.

You have no idea if that's true. You realize that right?

It's my opinion.

The fact that Weaver drafted Ausar 5th and Stone drafted Amen 4th (whereas you ranked the twins 13th and 14th) supports that opinion. So does Weaver's quote, which is right above your post..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Selecting a guy that high doesn't mean it was easy. I'm sure it wasn't easy for teams deciding between BM and Scoot, but there they were.

So you didn't watch the Weaver video, which I just pointed out, was right above your post..

Ok, here it is again so it seems like you're having trouble following along.

Read on Twitter
?s=20

Also, you check out any legit content (articles, videos, podcasts, etc.) from the past 12 months breaking down the twins, their games, how they project at the next level, etc. 9 times out of 10, the content does a good job of discussing their game, their skills, their talent, their athleticism, their basketball IQ, their mental makeup, their work ethic, their size, etc.

But on RealGM, 90% of the discourse about the twins is about the competition level in the OTE :banghead:

The OTE is objectively bad competition. Has anyone denied that? I'm telling you if you are declaring victory after 1 half of SL basketball you're not doing this right. Amen may be fine, but he played in an objectively trash league which makes it much harder to evaluate. That's just a fact.

If your process here is "I evaluated OTE correctly because LOOK AT THAT ONE HALF OF SL BASKETBALL"...yeah I'm not a fan of this approach.

Kinda different comparing a 2nd year guy vs guys with no experience in the league. Jabari struggled badly his rookie year.

Oh it's different? I mean they are playing against the same competition...hell, they even play on the same team.

Imagine if the twins were born at 8:00 AM and 8:10 AM and Jabari was born at 8:05 AM.

This is wild.

Duren just turned 19 and was the youngest of last year's draft
