Lol you don't get it. Morey looks bad if he confirms he didn't take the Haliburton deal. Which would you rather have an aging star who is injury prone and fails in the playoffs or a rising star that fits perfectly with your MVP and prolongs your window. Morey took a gamble and it was the wrong choice. Of course he doesn't want that to get out lol.Iverson Armband wrote:eyeatoma wrote:Iverson Armband wrote:
Of course I don’t know with 100% certainty. Logic tells you what the most likely scenario was.
Take a look at what Haliburton was traded for and then look what predictably happened with Simmons. Sac is dumb, but they ain’t that dumb. You just happened to be one of the delusional fans at the time, I get it… since we’re talking narratives.
I also choose to believe what I hear from Morey over say, Keith Pompey. But hey, that’s just me. Guess it makes you feel better to assume a man is lying than to admit your valuation was off.
I don't think you know how these guys work. Everything is subterfuge. They only reveal what they want to reveal. It's all calculated. Some of them are as dumb as a box of rocks, but Morey is not one of them.
You can go on blindly believing everything he said though. A conman would have a great time with you.
And you’d rather ignore all logic and fact to believe a man is fibbing 2 years removed from a trade that never happened because why? To ease your feelings towards him?
Newsflash: you’re not that important.
Never believe the person who is having his reputation smeared. He will do everything he can to refute the truth.
You say we don't matter. You know who does? Jo, he would be upset if this was on the table and Morey didn't pull the trigger.
