Rashid looks awesome. I'm definitely going to lab with him next time I jump into SF (which could be a while with other releases, but nevertheless...). It does make me a little jaded as someone who was maining Lily, though  Just that thematically he has all these amazing wind moves...with an invincible AA, no need to wind stock for power, and Kimberly-like closing speed.

Joking, of course. Lily was a lot of fun to learn, and I love "SHOW ME YOUR STRENGTH!!!!1!11"

Well.. after seeing the patch notes for Diablo 4, I basically have zero interest in playing Season 1.

Vulnerable damage, critical strike damage, damage reduction, and cooldown reduction all nerfed in to the ground. Helltides gutted (shard drop rate decreased, mystery chests moved from 175 shards to 250).

Loot quantity and quality from elites nerfed. Can no longer boost low level characters in NM dungeons. Sorcerer nerfed in to oblivion.

Zero interesting new unique items or legendary aspects. Itemization not touched whatsoever, prepare to receive almost zero gear upgrades again from Level 70 to Level 100. Zero changes to the absurd cost of rerolling gear.

Terrible all around.

I just keep telling myself that at least the campaign was fun. I can’t believe I dropped an extra $20 to play three days early, lol. How did none of y’all stop me?

Blizzard hasn't put out a good game in a decade. And they ruined Overwatch. At least let me still play the original if you're going to ruin the 2nd. Mind blowing to me. OW2 sucked and I'll fight anyone on it. Healing became a mess because the entire team of 5 just wants to go all out damage. Maps are average at best. New characters suck and balancing is off. They promise a PvE that will be updated frequently which never happened. And let me mention it one more time, THEY TOOK AWAY MY FAVORITE FPS BY NOT LETTING ME PLAY THE ORIGINAL.

Damn, you guys got me fired up this morning.

I’m sure being owned by Microsoft will help them. Warcraft Infinite soon? StarCraft Immortal? :D

Man, that D4 patch it brutal. Their solution to "there isn't enough end-game stuff" was to just try to make it all take longer? Really?

Speaking of Blizzard, they’re bringing their games to Steam starting with Overwatch 2 in August. I’ll consider picking up D2 Remastered and D4 if they both come over shortly after.

Feels like probably the first change from the Microsoft deal. I'll still play through battlenet because I find it less intrusive than Steam, but overall probably a good thing.

I’m in the “I have 300+ games on Steam I don’t want a launcher for two games” camp, so it’s a plus for me. I assume Battle.net will stick around as an exclusive home for WoW, but don’t see much reason for them not to put Overwatch/Diablo/StarCraft over on Steam. Now if only MS would put Minecraft on Steam…

It's not a good game.
I'm really disappointed in myself that I caved and bought it. Just uninspiring overall.

To be honest I blame a lot of outlets for their reviews. It's got an 86 score on Metacritic. Makes absolutely no sense.

For real. There was a lot of hype, and I suspect it could be due to the way it was rolled-out for reviews. If there was no real ability for reviewers to judge the end game, which is where a overwhelming majority of ARPG gameplay actually happens, then all they could judge was the campaign (and maybe early endgame) - which has solid build viability, the dark/gritty/good-for-an-ARPG story and theme that all Diablo fans wanted, lots of polish, and a surprisingly smooth launch from the technical standpoint.

I absolutely knew to wait for others to get to and experience the endgame before jumping in. I just couldn't help myself :)

At least there’s a Path of Exile 2 event coming up on July 28th to look forward to!

I started Path of Exile. Up to 28 hours played. But really only 30 minutes as I got distracted by the kids and left my Steam Deck running for over a day. Excited to play more as it seems fun but I really want to perfect controller buttons so I can use the Deck portably.

Second half of the year is nuts. Games I'm interested in.

7/25 - Remnant 2
7/27 - The Expanse: A Telltale Series Episode 1
8/10 - Atlas Fallen
8/25 - Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon
9/6 - Baldur's Gate III
9/6 - Starfield
9/19 - Lies of P
9/19 - Mortal Kombat 1
10/12 - Assassin's Creed Mirage
10/13 - Lords of the Fallen
10/20 - Marvel's Spider-Man 2
10/24 - Cities: Skylines II
11/2 - Star Ocean: The Second Story R

Bolds are my no-doubt buys. HIGHLY likely to pick up BG3, Mortal Kombat 1, and Lords of the Fallen. Everything else I'll wait and see about reviews, but they all look good.

What kinda upgrades can I do for my desktop?

Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1620 v2 4 cores 8 threads @ 3.70GHz 3.70 GHz 64GB RAM 1TB SSD Quadro K2000 Windows 10

I don't PC game though just capture videos for my small channel. I did PC game in the old days like Command and Conquer and Red Alert and Sim CITY. Besides emulators with roms. Also use external HDD 2TB for the video location. I believe Windows said I cant do Windows 11 without some kinda upgrade.
