In my opinion, he's made one great movie (Election) and two good ones (Sideways, Nebraska). This doesn't look like it will change that. I'll check it out, though. At home. When it comes to a streaming service that I pay for.

I personally think Election, Sideways, Nebraska and the Descendants are all very good to great. However, I saw after I posted this that he didn't write the screenplay for this one which curbs my enthusiasm greatly.

I'd add "About Schmidt" to that as well.

I like Bruce Dern, Nebraska was good.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I tried to watch last night but they were not available till midnight, my time. WTH?
Glad to hear the new version is good.
I really liked the first two episodes. Some legit intriguing new characters. Always great to have the Raylan Givens death stare show up too.

Justified was on yesterday. I'll catch it tomorrow though on my day off to binge watch stuff. Tonight I'm gonna be busy drinking and gaming.

Justified airs on FX Tuesday nights but doesn't drop on Hulu until Wednesday. It's a one-off mini series but I'd love to see it go longer, although there is no more original source material. The Elmore Leonard book it's based on isn't a Givens book, they changed the main character from a Detroit detective to Givens.

Re: OT: TV and Movies
Saw some debate on twitter about star wars movies ranked. I've never been a giant fan of the series but for me (by enjoyment). Also quite shocked at the difference in opinon that some of these ranking/articles have the new trilogy
1. Empire Strikes Back
2. ROTS
3. New Hope
4. Return of the Jedi
5. Rogue One
6. Last Jedi
7. Force Awakens
8. Solo
9. Phantom Menace
10. Attack of the Clones
11. Clone wars
12. Rise of Skywalker
Everything after Return of the Jedi is pretty bad and I don't really remember enjoying any of them a ton (Rogue One was kind of fun but forgettable).

Today I told a coworker that reviews were out, that they were glowing, that I was seeing it tomorrow and I couldn't wait, asked if she and her husband were going. They go to a movie every week. She said she didn't think he would like it and that struck me as odd because I know him, seems up his alley, and besides who wouldn't be interested in a Nolan film about Oppenheimer. Gradually I figured out she had no idea what I was talking about. I said, "It's Oppenheimer. You know, the atomic bomb? WW2?" and she quickly googled, "Oh. Right. Yea maybe we'll see it." Name absolutely did not ring a bell.

Probably thought it was a Seinfeld spin off...

It's 3 hours and 1 minute long.

Interesting word choice imo

I love Sunny, but Dennis doesn't hold a candle to Hawkeye Pierce, George Costanza, Reverend Jim Ignatowski, Gob Bluth, George Jefferson or the goat, Lucille Ball
Edit: I forgot a lot, but somehow I left off Hal from Malcolm in the Middle.

Last night may be a Mt. Rushmore Always Sunny episode. I was in tears laughing at the ending.
