from SL and youtube I don't think he can move, finish or shoot well enough to play the 4 in the NBA (or in the NBA period)

Partially guaranteed this year and unguaranteed next year. So we can cut him if needed with w/minimal repercussions.

Nah Olynkyk has legit guard skills in terms of passing/ball handling Petrusev does not have that, I'd say he can be a mixture of Jock Landdale/Muscala/Jon Luerer (played for Suns/Memphis) but taller/longer/more athletic and better defender due to his ability to actually slide his feet pretty well and at times chip for some blocks/steals.

I'm glad he's getting a shot in the NBA but I was hoping it would not be with the 76ers since there roster has like 5 C's I was hoping his rights would be given to the GSW or another team lacking in bigs. I don't understand wtf the 76ers are doing roster wise I would not be shocked if they cut/move Petrusev to another team where he might get a chance to play.

How does he compare to Maxi Kleber?

I think Kleber when healthy is a near elite defender for a bigman so they don't compare at all there, I guess shooting wise they are similar with Petrusev having more offensive game. Athletically I guess similar with Maxi probably being stronger and Filip a bit taller/longer. Different players I would say.

Sounds like he can play with another big. 13% of his possessions are catch and shoot at 1.73ppp and most of his type of shots are off cutting at 15% at 1.62ppp. He also played with another big at EU

If i will have to guess the 5 bigs is in preparation for a double big with Embiid. In theory, the 4 bigs we have can play with Embiid

did you watch the part where he's lost defensively and gets targeted/backed down in the post by random euroleague forwards?

seriously, there must have been a promise to bring him over so the Sixers gave him about as little guaranteed money as they could

This is why I was saying PF is his best position offensively he played with former 76ers draft pick or draft rights player Luka Mitrovic who I would compare to a crap version of Sabonis (skilled can't shoot elite passing big) on a lot of those clips you will see it's him feeding (#9) Petrusev for dunks cutting baseline which he's got great timing on/open 3's

Theoretically, I think we have a 4 man rotation at PF/C. Embiid always plays C & Petrusev will always play 4 but Reed/Bamba can potentially play either spot depending on who they're sharing the court with.

Petrusev blocks a lot of damn shots for a guy that doesn't have a great wingspan. I kind of like this dude.

I think he is better than Mohamed Bumba though
