Wesley Matthews has to have played for almost half the nba teams at this point.

And why should we care what you see? Are you a scout or in player development or something?

Kid grew up around the game and has winning genes. Sr. won 5 ‘ships in 6 years. His genes alone make this a good signing.

Anything else is just a pessimistic and lazy take.

LOL wtf type of logic is that. Might as well sign Jordan's kid if you can pry him away from Pippens ex wife.

And my take is based on watching him play and do absolutely nothing at a nba level. Obviously that doesn't mean he can't improve and change that but I haven't seen any hint of that thus far.

I am posting on a God damn forum so that means nothing you say should matter either. Sounds like I was offending your family member here lol.

He also seems to have the fat gene. Hopefully he can keep that under control.

It’d be weird if a 2-way player dominated at the NBA level, no? I saw nothing from his g-league season last year that had me not wanting and expecting back this year.

Give the kid a break.

And most certainly, nothing you or I say matters at all in the grand scheme of things. Just opining on your opinion. Take it, leave it….who gives a s***?

Well duhhh... thats why we're posting on this forum and not in the board room. The fact this needs to be said is hilarious lol.

And it has nothing to do with dominating at the nba level... it's about showing flashes. Banton was twice the prospect and we let him go.

I stand by my comment about this organizational developmental system falling off drastically based on the results we've seen recently.

Ron Harper Jr, gleague regular season:

31.6 MIN, 16.7 PPG, 5.1 REB, 4.0 AST, 1.0 STL, 1.2 BLK, .501 FG, .366 3PT, .776 FT, .652 TS, 19.8 USG

That's an impressive gleague season for a rookie.

"Winning genes"? LMAO. By that logic, should sign all the offspring of past players with championship DNA. Who cares how good they are anyways? Criticize other posters but you make an absurd statement like this? LOL

Awaiting the hysteria of trading another 1st in 3-2-1…..

Maybe it isn’t Bobby or Masai rather Tolzman trading all the picks??? /s

so if I have this correct, the Hawks had 15 regular roster spots filled, and now just signed Wes Matthews to a one year deal. Trade imminent?

edit: hmm Vit Krejci has an unguaranteed contract this season, which fully guarantees on 1/10/24. So they could just waive him without *having* to make a trade.

If you truly believe having grown up around the game as the son of a 5 time champion really makes zero difference then you literally have no clue.

Agree to disagree if you feel otherwise.

They also waived someone named Tyrese Martin.

Doesn't matter if you don't have the talent. And you should know that. I have literally no clue? Another absurd take.

You’ve lost me.

His g-league stats from last year clearly indicate he has talent that’s worth further developing. His background and make-up make it even clearer that he’s worth continuing with.

I’m over you dude. Agree to disagree.

Masaaiiiii is washed! Seriously though I have no idea what the Bulls are doing? They have too many guard, no interior defence and while hypothetically their 3 best players should fit together, they don’t and have zero chemistry. I’m so confused why they wouldn’t just pull a Celtics and figure out a sign and trade for Ayo.
