Thank God.

I don’t understand the hate people have for players on our team who actually performed well in the postseason.

Wes was easily our best wing defender against the Heat and him missing games was a big reason Jimmy went off. He played him really well, Jrue’s ego just got in the way.

Wes seems to be catching the slander Jae Crowder deserved

Don't need another old-ass washed up vet.

I'd like to see some attempt to let our youn guys get some experience instead of a 37 year old stealing their minutes.

I have less than zero interest in having PJ back and didn't care much when he left.

I’d much rather see what Marjon or Dre Jack can do with 15.8mpg than Wes.

Losing PJ was the biggest post championship **** up Horst made. Would have easily taken him back over Bobby but we should of had both. Also we're probably not as desperate to do the Serge trade if we have PJ on the roster.

It's similar to the 2001 Bucks letting Scott Williams walk.

I would take Bobby over PJ, but we shouldn't have to choose. Both players were possible.

PJ doesn't move the needle one way or the other and lives primarily on reputation, I didn't think he was good on the court for us but in retrospect I will say his contract wasn't that big and Horst has shown little aptitude for being a GM with his subsequent moves. So yeah, I will concede to PJheads that resigning him would be preferable to Semi, Joe Ingles, or five 2nd round picks for Jae Crowder. He's not better or more important to the lockerroom than Bobby tho

That's fine. I have no interest in arguing about it. I was ok either way on that one.

Yep. I’m sure he would have comeback but they added some young wings the last two years and probably informed him they didn’t have minutes or a roster spot available.

Washed up? He was our best wing defender last season.

We brought back Jae and signed RoLo. If you don’t want washed players stealing minutes you are a month late to the party.

Jae’s playoff performance was inexcusable.

The idea of playing and developing young guys is great in theory, poor in practice when you are actively a top team in the league. Look at Boston and all the picks they’ve bailed on the last few years. Denver is the special case where their entire roster was hurt for two years and young guys were forced to play, but even they brought in KCP and Brown to play over trusting Braun. All this talk about how much Denver trusted Braun and he was at the back end of the rotation.

I hope Marjon is good, but I don’t think Ajax has a chance in this league.

Calling him our best wing defender isn't saying much tbh. He was a totally fine vet to have around but glad to be moving on from him. Gotta give the youths a chance now.

Giannis has been our weak side defender. He very rarely defends the opposing team’s best player on the wing. His ability to float is what makes this defense so good. Brook drops, Giannis floats. Maybe the new regime changes this, but that’s also going to open up a whole new slew of problems.

Jrue spot defends the opposing wings. Jimmy absolutely torched him this year.

Wes is the guy for the opponent’s best wing.

I thought Scott Williams was part of a sign and trade for Anthony Mason?

I wish we could trade Pat and Allen for Powell. Think he would be a really good addition and could start for us.

Brook/Portis/Rolo
Giannis/Crowder
Middleton/Beauchamp
Powell/Beasley/Jackson
Jrue/Green
still learning the game

Sort of. Bucks traded Willians to Denver to clear cap space. Then signed Mason the next day. Mason had been with the Heat.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Bucks hired a first time head coach based largely on his rep for developing young players.

They seem confident in MarJon’s trajectory in particular.

Our lack of a proper pg was a problem last year and it will still be the same this year.

We do have good outside scorers in Aj Green and Malik Beasley. Am glad about that.

None of the summer league players seemed that impressive. Most importantly, they all seemed to be poor outside shooters. Marjon was also a poor outside scorer. This is a problem.

Griffin’s defense would be strong but am concerned about how he will handle Brook’s defense where defending the rim was Brook’s main strength.

Stotts will plan our offense. I have no a priori expectation of how he would plan to do that.

We do have 4 very good players: Giannis, Khris, Jrue and Brook. That is our fundamental strength and we may have a very good chance of winning the Championship because of that; however our window of winning is small, maybe two years.
