This 2-month old EA build of a partial first act is better - to me, mind you - than anything I've played this year aside from TotK.

BG3 will be a classic. I just hope the bugs aren't too bad on release.

I don't recall many (any?) noticable bugs at all and played it on and off for a couple years now.

There are definitely still bugs. I was playing a few days ago and I rested in an area and shadowheart would float around the map and ended up dead.

Sounds like a lot of PC performance issues with Remnant 2 at the moment :( Hopefully something that gets cleaned up quickly once the game officially releases tomorrow.

Definitely interested in Remnant 2, but I want to hold off a few weeks and see what people think when they actually reach the endgame. AC: Valhalla has been a nice time suck and I can keep that going for a while.

Sounds like Rashid is maybe a little busted out of the gate, specifically has some issue with his level two super taking your entire drive gauge on block. Needs that minimally fixed before Evo next weekend, as he’ll be legal for the tournament. Still very excited to try him out tomorrow as I couldn’t play today.

I'm in the latter third of FF16 and I'm still having a good time with it. Unlike some folks, I'm enjoying the goofy bombast of the story's back-half, but it continues to be nuts that they locked the hard difficulty behind NG+. The base game is just too easy.

Already got patched. Capcom is really on top of things with SF6.

Jayden Reed having a higher OVR than Love makes a ton of sense!

I’ve been playing this stupid UBaketballGM game on the iPhone lately. Super basic but quite addictive, reminds me of when I first discovered Retro Bowl on iPhone. Finally won a chip with the Bucks in 2031. Against? The Suns. Series results? 4-2.

Watched some gameplay trailer for Armored Core VI. Havent played any of the other entries in the series but it looks pretty cool. Looking forward to that and Baldurs Gate this year

Madden ratings will forever always be dumb. But I still have to laugh at Love being rated lower than guys like Trey Lance, Pickett, Baker, and Sam freakin' Darnold.

Didn't hold off on Remnant. Not regretting it so far. I obviously chose the class that lets you have the dog. After a skirmish the little girl wasn't doing great, down to half health. Instinctively tried to pet the dog, which you can. Pooch's health immediately improved back to full.

Great game. 10/10.

Playing through Yakuza 0. Wow, what a wild way this game tonally shifts. Looking forward to finishing.

Read on Twitter

For those that didn’t catch this, BG3 unlocks at 10:00am CDT on August 3rd. If you’re on the coast or out of country, shift the time appropriately. Really nice that it’s not a midnight on the 3rd launch, so I can play the whole day with my time off. :)

I'll probably have it updated and ready to go that night. But I am taking September 6th or 7th off for Starfield regardless of the reviews.
