They don't even like Pritchard over there like that, and Brogdon is an injury risk.

They're definitely a Porzingis injury away from being extremely thin overall. They should have found a way to keep Grant Williams who would have a nice role throughout the regular season.

Amen. I would freaking love White on this team, especially since he fills a need. It’s laughable seeing what we gave up for Young compared to what the Boston gave up for White.

I think the Celtics want to force both Brown and Tatum to create more. Those two can get tunnel vision and this might force them to become better player makers. Celtics are fine, White isn’t a true PG but neither was Smart and I suspect they’ll be able to make a trade or pick up a point guard from the buy out market.

Dragic, the Raptors are sending a 2022 protected first-round pick to the Spurs. The pick will be protected 1-14 in 2022 and 1-13 in 2023, after which it will turn into two future second-round picks.

We gave up a top 6 protected pick for half a season of Poeltl. I'm sure the board would be fine to get White for ONE AND A HALF SEASONS with the same pick lol.

There was also a 2028 top 1 protected pick swap in the Derrick White trade on top of the 1st.

Raptors were not in the business of making trades for White of the worlds. You do those type of trades if you’re a contender or on the cusp of it.

We’d be giving up a pick in the 20’s for a starting caliber player who fits a need for our team. Thad was LITERALLY a getting DNP-CDs and our front office decided he’d be a worth giving up a first round pick. Let me remind you Thad was literally unplayable and we thought hey let’s give up a first round pick for a guy that would 100% get cut if we didn’t overpay for him.
