Not sure how I feel about this. Will be cool to see them participate, but in the end, we have a limited window to win and if either gets injured, or someone burns out early in the season, it'll be a big loss.
I get it's a minimal number of games but the prep that goes into being ready is more than just casual pickup.

Wow, I LOVE IT!
Eric Gordon with Ayton playing for Bahamas? Let's go!

I’m pumped for Ayton to play, not so much Eric Gordon. Good to see DA want to play for his country. Hopefully EG can stay healthy.

Did not realize EG was Bahamian. Hopefully he and DA can develop some good chemistry this summer.

Well DA should be a main option on this team. Guess we will see how it works out.

Assuming Denver will rematch Boston on Xmas, I'd say Lakers.
Don’t you mean Miami?
Yeah you're right. Brainfart

"Lowe: Why Bradley Beal could unlock KD, Book and the most dangerous version of the Phoenix Suns yet"
He has consistently put Phoenix as the best team behind Denver when talking about us in his podcasts, but I'd be interested to see his detailed breakdown here.

World Cup could be a learning experience for Ayton bit of a change of perspective.

I prefer if EG didn't play but my assumption is that he won't get heavy minutes.

If I recall correctly, I think Metu, Watanabe, and Okogie will also play for their national teams. Should be fun to watch

I think he's a really good practice body. Former late 1st round pick with the size and strength to match up with any of our current C's and make them work.
This certainly feels like a Vogel signing given his love of bigs

It's going to be great for Ayton to go up against a high energy, physical big man like Azubuike every day in practice

It's not World Cup.
Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton and guard Eric Gordon, Indiana Pacers guard Buddy Hield and Charlotte Hornets forward Kai Jones have committed to play for their native Bahamas in upcoming Olympic qualifying action.
All four are on the roster for Bahamas for its Olympic qualifier in Santiago de Estero, Argentina, from Aug. 14-20. Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Panama, Uruguay and the U.S. Virgin Islands are also participating in hopes of qualifying for a spot in the 2024 Paris Games.
Bahamas must win this tournament to qualify for another Olympic qualifier next summer.

Only Watanabe will play in the World Cup.

They play in Santiago del Estero? That place is…not the most touristy place in Argentina. Probably the poorest province in the country. I would definitely go if it was closer to where I live.

I don’t understand how he can be available to play for the Bahamas when he has already played for USA.
