Get a goat, mows your lawn and will maybe spook your trespassing chickens?

goats **** everywhere and it's annoying to clean up.

Shotguns work fine if you're scared to catch them.

I still say put up a coop and get some free eggs

I read that sheep are better for lawn mowing since they eat the grass more evenly. Whereas goats will eat more randomly.

But then you have to manage their wool so they don't grow it too long and die.

Also goats can climb trees.

Side note. I mowed the lawn last week ( + two neighboring lawns since nobody lives there and my landlord gives me lower rent for it) when it was like 90 degrees. With a push mower.

And this week has been in the low 80's.

Talk about bad timing.

As for the chickens, they're pretty friendly. Can walk right up to them.

I figure they're from a farm down the road and will wonder back over there whenever.

I am extremely spoiled by the advent of streaming concert videos

With a good sound system this **** is so much better than going in person and dealing with crowds

over lockdown we finally invested in a real soundsystem we have somos surround, with a sonos bar and two surround speakers behind. its a game changer.

they were spite speakers to drown out my loud neighbor who watches tv on volume 100. now i never hear him haha.

side note: i'm not in an apartment... but... surround sound speakers and wall hanging tvs should be illegal in modern apartments that have 0% soundproof walls.

College conferences don't mean anything anymore. Half the teams are in the SEC and Big 12.

And in other news, a 50 foot tree got blown over in my yard. Luckily it didn't hit anything besides a couple power lines though. Landed in the only spot it could've landed and not cause some major damage.

This is the new football sadly.

Wouldn't surprise me if they get rid of conferences all together.

Update on the chickens:

They're still here. And now a rooster has shown up too.

It's about time we honored crash. Most underappreciated player in franchise history.

No matter how we do this season, at least we aren't the Denver Broncos.

Bryce will be fine. This is vindication becuase the offense is just as bad with Andy (blown coverage TD doesn't count)

Frank is a **** awful coach who has been hired three times already, and I can't believe Tepper did this **** again.

The guy in Indy wanted to be here, but Tepper didn't like his interview. He's coaching circles over Reich with less. Just insane stuff.

I wouldn't even care if the bears didn't have our pick next season. They're about to have potentially 2 of the first 4 picks. Lol

Reich is a good coach, I think. Pretty sure he has an overall winning record.

But our offense sucks.

Hopefully Bryce turns out well, I think he will, but it's going to be hard to watch Stroud playing so well and Baker Mayfield probably winning the division on top of it.

Probably best to tune out this season and pretend next year is actually Bryce's rookie year.

Imagine if we (aka Chicago) gets the #1 pick and get Caleb Williams, who is supposedly Mahomes 2.0.

Oh boy. Bryce better be good.

the panthers are an injured mess and wasted years of draft capital on a dude the size of an 8th grader. chelsea are a complete **** joke at this point and will probably fire their 4th head coach in 12 months very soon. my twp fantasy teams are awful. i'm counting on the **** hornets to save 2023/24. sigh.
