I'm not a fan of him, but a lot of players will say these things in private so if they actually think that, then might as well let be known in public too. I get it, that players should be thankful for the fans and the large contracts, but if fans talk **** to you, I don't think it's fair to have to be quiet in return.

If it's in person, you can find all sort of clips of players talking back to fans. But post it on twitter than all of sudden it's a big deal?

This is hilarious. I’ve been saying for years this guy is scum and a trash player. Never seen Clippers fans turn on a player like this. This is much more common with Lakers fans or Celtics fans etc. Clippers fans are much more chill usually.

Idk if that's the case that means they're not really being obnoxious about their team and current events pre or post game.

If it's about 30 years ago then it's not too bad in actuality when you interact with them season by season for games.

I think that pretty much by default has to rule them out of the equation.

Lastly, not mutually exclusive. Even if Clippers fans are toxic doesn't mean Lakers fans aren't ( I agree all fan bases tend to be toxic by nature)

You've still seen never seen it. You can probably name 3 posters at most in the last 5 years who've had that expectation on this board.

What you probably don't realize is that dialogue is often driven by articles likely fostered by player agents saying that a player is rumored to go on the lakers, because that generates clicks and may drive up their contract value for the team they actually intend on going to, meanawhile you have 9/10 lakers fans saying it makes no sense, 1/10 casual laker fan thinking they'll get that player, but everyone else in the thread ignoring every laker poster but saying "Wow lakers fans think they are entitled to anyone!!!"
