He's active, he runs the floor, protects the rim, is a lob threat, and he can shoot the 3. I'm not sure we've had a backup 5 who can do all of that in Embiid's time here.

He’s a good fit. Im surprised Bucks didnt go hard after him when he seems to be a good replacement project for Brolo.

Given that they matched on Reed, it would appear that we are finally going to see some double big lineups this year. I really hope at least a wing is signed before September, and actually a backup PG. He's small, but Kennedy Chandler would be well worth bringing in if possible. That kid can play.

He would, but I'd rather take a shot at Kennedy Chandler.

Yeah, he's been showing out for the Nets in the summer league. To me, Chandler is a true point guard. He reminds me at times of Ish Smith. If Smith can stick in this league as a non threat from three, then so can Chandler.

Been digging about him.

Magic = he showed lack of effort, seems like he’s doing the “shake milton” move of trying to get traded. Also there are complaints about him not going after boards.

Lakers = most want him back. They didnt expect he’d sign with us with the minimum.

He really could be the guy along with Joel's shooting to allow this roster to work.

If Harden isn't traded and I hope that he is. I think they have the versatility to slide Melton, Reed, Tucker, Bamba in and out of the lineup. He could play with Reed on the bench, etc.

Joel pretty much just shoots from the elbow or drives from the elbow, having an actual big in the dunker spot could be nice. Mo isn't perfect defending in space, but can recover on drives with his length...very nice.

But mainly they need 4 bigs, because Joel is going to sit a lot hopefully

I actually like this roster IIIIIFFFFFFF Maxey is given the reigns to be the guy (but Harden won't let him), if they actually use the versatility, and they maybe add a shooter.

Sounds like a smart guy and sounds like he signed here expecting to play with Jojo in a double big system of nurse.

I like him, he has potential for sure to be a nice backup big. His shooting is what make him specially intriguing and even could be able to play some with Biid.

At the minimun hes a no brainer.

Magic fan here. I’m also a Bamba fan even though he didn’t fulfil expectations in Orlando. He’s just so much unrealised potential which is fascinating and frustrating. He’s very smart, but doesn’t have great ball IQ or instincts yet. His motor is very up and down and mostly down as he overestimates how much his length allows him to be lazy/late on defense.

But he has an unblockable 3pt shot with increasingly good efficiency. When motivated, he has unstoppable reach on defense. And best of all, he seems to really get along with Embiid. Seems to have spent some off-season time training with him in the past and Bamba always played harder against Philly than other teams.

Put him next to Embiid and he could become a rich man’s Channing Frye, which could be special in this era.

I hope you guys unlock his potential.

I still want to know what Mo said to Austin Rivers to make him lose his chit like he did.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

Is he just highly inconsistent? Seems like all teams would be looking for a guy of this type if he showed up every night

3pt shooter and shot blocker. What's the downside? Why was he a min contract?
