My darkhorse to win the championship next year is the Kings. Their offense allows them to keep up with any team, while Fox has been one of the best in crunch time.

The guy from euro they added also looks like a great fit for their team

They loaded up with Len and Noel, which they can play different combinations with Sabonis, and multiple stretch 4s with Keegan and Barnes, both also seem to be decent defenders against wings.

For me, they have the recipe to win it.

He's definitely King Loser of the NBA. Didn't he say something along the lines of "excited he gets to play meaningful games" now that he's on the Suns? Was clearly coasting on the Wizards jacking up shots.

My dark horse for the season is OKC. I think they’re gonna compete for a 4-5 seed & they have war chest to make a significant acquisition at the trade deadline.

They'll be very good, but to me they're a year or two of growth away from seriously competing. They need to integrate Chet fully and learn how to win big games, but it's coming.

They're a blast to watch and have a great home advantage. I'd love to see it.

I think they also have the recipe in talent. SGA is also a known performer in crunch time. Once they start trading their assets for proven vets, thats when they’ll be a serious contender IMO.

Maybe, maybe not. They have to get it right as far as the mix and chemistry. The thing they have going for them is Presti, who will never drop his drawers like MIN going all in and f**k up an ideal situation.

I think we’re in for an interesting couple of seasons tho with Houston, Orlando, Detroit, and OKC all candidates to shift gears & make some consolidation trades. At some point in the near future, these teams are going to have to identify talent they want to prioritize for development & trade away the rest while their value is high.

Wonder if Maxey got any consideration? Would have loved to see him play with Kerr to unlock that inner Steph Curry... Even practice squad

Has Maxey even been part of the USA Basketball pipeline? I wouldn't mind him networking and trying to get some guys here. Something that Homebody Jo isn't very good at.

With our luck he'll get networked into going elsewhere.

Valid concern.
