Exhibit 10, Exhibit 9, Two-Way & Affiliate Player Watch – (All Teams)

As of this Writing, we have 16 Contracts, counting Champagnie's Unguaranteed, and the 2 x Two-Ways.
We can have up to 6 x Exhibit 10's, at a time. 4 of those Waived, can become Affiliates with the Maine Celtics.

I think we go through Training Camp, with something like the following.:

13 x Guaranteed NBA Contracts
02 x Two Way Contracts
06 x Exhibit 10 Contracts

83. Can a Two-Way player be converted to a regular NBA player?
Can a regular NBA player be converted to a Two-Way player? What is Exhibit 10?

Other rules related to Exhibit 10:

A team can have no more than six contracts that contain an Exhibit 10 in effect at any time.
A contract must be converted to a Two-Way contract prior to the start of the regular season (including during the July Moratorium).

The 2023 CBA increases the maximum Exhibit 10 bonus to $75,000.[24]

seems like it'll be an exhibit 10 camp battle for the last 2-way spot.

i'd love to get VVB on an exhibit 10. got nice skills and size. i know he looked a bit overmatched in that 1 SL game but i'd like to see if he can adjust better to the speed and physicality of the nba.

You’re underestimating the century-long repercussions of not paying and trading away an injured IT who gave his all in the 2016 postseason. Not to mention dumping an injured Kemba who no longer has an NBA career. Exhibit 10s and SL players don’t want Boston if it can be helped.

I may or may not be kidding.

Barlow signed a 2-way with the Spurs. Bummer.

My updated list..

Oh and my sleeper is Aliou Diarra. Only 21 yrs old, went undrafted this year but is insanely quick for a big man and put up some crazy numbers (albeit in a small sample size of games) in the Africa pro league.

Oh and there's also Moses Wright. Undrafted 2 yrs ago, played g league (and a few NBA games in 21-22 then overseas last season). Played summer league this year for the Raptors. 24 yrs old. Kind of like Kabengele but perhaps better feel for the game / basketball IQ. Kind of an undersized big. But 6'9" w/ a 7'1" wingspan is basically same size as Horford.

I'm surprised that Harry Giles is still down here. He should be on a Regular NBA Squad.
He's still got a year left, after Tatum pulled for him in arbitration/appeal, right?

I'm also thinking that Stevens is going to use those Exhibit 10's to his advantage.
He'll likely just keep the 2 Roster spots, and the 1 x Two-Way spot, open for Camp Battles.

Yeah I think Giles has 1 more year of 2-way eligibility. I'm sure he would rather get a standard contract. But since he played 0 games last season and only 38 games the year before that, taking a 2-way might be his only way of getting back into the NBA.

Or, he could go overseas - try and put up some big numbers over there and hope that impresses an NBA team enough to give him a shot..

So, wait a minute. Kornet and Banton are both on Partial Guarantees.
We could potentially Waive either or both Before the Season Start.

So, we kinda have 11 Fully Guaranteed Contracts, and potentially 4 NBA Spots up for grabs?

2017-18: Jabari Bird, Kadeem Allen
2018-19: Walt Lemon Jr., PJ Dozier, RJ Hunter
2019-20: Max Strus, Tacko Fall, Tremont Waters
2020-21: Tacko Fall, Tremont Waters
2021-22: Matt Ryan, Sam Hauser, Brodric Thomas
2022-23: Mfiondu Kabengele, JD Davison
2023-24: Jay Scrubb, JD Davison

So far, we haven't had success with the two-ways except for Hauser (*crosses fingers*). Strus ended up being successful except on another team lol.

Thanks for putting this together — Walt Lemon Jr was a bucket! Brodric was, in retrospect, not. I will keep the Tacko flame alive in my heart even though it’s trending towards the Not Happening bunker.

Scrubb and JD have all star and Finals MVP potential until they don’t;)
