It’s worth a listen, but one thing that stood out was that Ant treats his entourage with the same respect he treats his teammates, they recognized and enjoyed Kyle on this podcast, and they thought he is too rough on Karl-Anthony Towns.

This is not a podcast I’d normally recommend, and generally has emotional, uneducated takes, but this episode has some stories that give some insight into who Anthony Edwards is, and I though some of the people here would enjoy it.

I felt the story about Ant playing blackjack screams "Michael Jordan"

A5 from Day5.

A1 from Day 1 was manufactured after we drafted him. 5 goes deeper....

Five is more than just a digit on a jersey to him. It represents a part of him that got him here. It also serves as a remembrance of, and a tribute to, what he has lost along the way.

Edwards lost his mother, Yvette, and his grandmother Shirley to cancer in the same year, when he was just 14. One of the reasons he wears No. 5, it has been reported, is that both died on the fifth of the month. Anthony’s birthday? Aug. 5.

“He’s playing for his family,” Holland said. “It’s a family number.”

It's also fitting that the best No. 5 in NBA history might be Kevin Garnett…

With how little the media and opposing fans follow the Wolves and Ant swapping jersey #'s with Anderson, I fully expect Slo Mo to make his first All Star Game!

Honestly surprised he didn't make the change sooner. He's had that AE5 necklace for some time.

When Edwards was drafted in 2020, No. 5 was already taken by Malik Beasley. Edwards pressed his new teammate to give it up, but he never could convince Beasley to do it. By the time Beasley was traded to Utah last summer, it was too late for Edwards to request a jersey change with the league for the 2022-23 season.

If Beasley didn't want to give the number before. And now Slo Mo giving it to him, then it was nice of Kyle to do that as a teammate

SloMo just oozes class - Seems to be a really down to earth kind of bloke

On the Ant-Man number change, I'll be getting an AE5 jersey asap!!

Why would it be edited? I am sure most good shooters in the NBA can easily make 16+ corner 3's in a row.

It's possible, but unlikely. I bet Stephen Curry has a hard time doing it on a regular basis. Ant's best season shooting 3s was just under 37%.

You'd be surprised. Game-action 3s are a big difference from zero-defense practice shots in terms of accuracy.
