WWE SummerSlam Discussion

Post#1 » by MotownMadness » Mon Jul 24, 2023 4:44 am

Just bought tickets!!

My daughter is a huge Cody Rhodes fan so I'm taking her for her birthday. I was a big fan in the Attitude era and know a little bit about it nowadays.

Any one ever go to a live event? Is it pretty different from how you see it on TV? Are the intros really loud and exciting?

The card is pretty mid. The story is great for Jey/Roman but they're not putting the world title on Jey Uso. Finn/Seth has been done 1,000 times, I'm sure it'll be a good match but I'm just not that interested. Brock/Cody is good. Drew/Gunther will kick ass.

The card just feels like it's missing something.

They really don’t have a plan and somehow some way they’ve gotten to go away Heat on what was once one of the best storylines in the history of the business.

Naw ! I don't think it's go away heat! I thought it was fine. Maybe not perfectly executed, fine. I was shocked. They can motivate it right and the jimmy hey match will be really really good! Maybe even have Roman be the ref lol!

2024! That crowd gave Dom (and Liv) ALL the heat!

Great SummerSlam so far.

DREWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Face Roman vs Heel Rock will be the stuff of legends. It better happen.

Roman Reigns entrance got quite a pop. Now I’m guessing there will be a bloodline civil war; Reigns will need to the Uso twins and perhaps introduce someone new?

Not sure what they’ll do with Rhodes. WWE may still have plans for John Cena to break the title record; perhaps WWE will have Cena beat Rhodes (giving back to business) and then Cena drop the title back to Reigns at Wrestlemania?
