At least bat him above Matt Chapman. Need someone who can hit with RISP.
I like the idea of speed at the top of the lineup.
Without Vlad, and Bo we get 13 runs lol.

He has been worth about 0.5 WAR in three games. He's on roughly a 30 fWAR pace, no biggie.
**** your asterisk.

Love watching Schneider bat.You can see he has a plan, and sticks to it.Doesn,t go after pitches he doesnt think he can handle,as the broadcasters mentioned.maybe the rest of the lineup have been following him.

Lost in this weekend’s euphoria, Chad Green is ready, just a matter of when they want to make room for him.

So will it be Espinal who gets DFA when Bichette comes back? I believe Biggio has options so it makes sense to send him down, but Schneider loves him too much even if he is hitting .211 right now after going 1 for 5 today, and getting his first extra base hit and RBI all year facing a lefty pitcher.

Biggio's hitting .211, but Espinal is only hitting .221...they're about on par in terms of OBP, but Biggio has substantially more power, and he's a decent enough hitter against RHP to merit a bench role (.713 OPS this year, .744 career). Both have options as far as I can tell.
If the Yankees lose, we'll be 4.5 up on them, 5.0 up on the Red Sox, and either 2.5 or 3.5 up on the Mariners pending their result. We'll also be just 1.0 back of the Astros, and the gap to the Rays is down to 3.5 again. No guarantees certainly, but not a bad position to be in.
**** your asterisk.

Both Biggio and Espinal have 9 hits each since July 1st. Schneider got 9 hits in this 3 Game Series alone in Boston. I do not expect Schneider to keep up this pace, but it merits a question why this organization could not call up Schneider much sooner given the terrible production from both Biggio and Espinal all year.

Schneider already looks so much better than Biggio, and Espinal right now.
Schneider was inside outing his swing on inside pitches, and getting hits that way.
He looks like the real deal, and if he struggles,it will be because he has never faced that pitcher,or its because its a really good pitcher.Has not looked overmatched yet.
