3 hours into BG3 with my co-op game. I split off to look in a room while the other 3 went ahead, I whoopsed into a combat encounter at the same time the rest of the group triggered a different encounter, I got killed before my turn, and then waited 20 minutes in real time while they handled their encounter. 10/10

I'm pumped but the way EA has butchered literally EVERY SINGLE sports franchise they own I'm not really that pumped. They've destroyed Madden's franchise mode when it was absolutely perfect back in '04. Like, why not do that exact thing? So hopefully NCAAF 24 isn't complete ass, all they need to do is copy 2014s dynasty mode and I'd be happy.

I know this sounds old man cloud thingy...but man, to master all the intricacies and modes and controls and optimize everything...you might as well be a GM. Jesus. Saw a report about young men's video gaming time has just exploded since 2019...probably the wrong thread for that comment haha.

Really just need to remaster NCAA 14 and I'd be content so the bar isn't very high, but we've all seen EA remove half the features that games from that era had and give us a significantly worse product instead so I remain nervous.

I'm 44 and grew up playing the **** out of sports games. After like a 15 year break I've gotten back into playing videogames with my kids and sports games controls are just too **** complicated to be fun.

I will say I'm absolutely loving my return to gaming. Find the hour or so I play after my wife goes to bed to be more enjoyable than watching mediocre TV like I used to.

Sell your copies of NCAA Football 14 right now, because those prices are about to drop through the floor. Go for between 85 and 95 right meow.

I just picked-up the extra attack on my monk and feel more OP than ever. My AC is 19, I'm almost always hitting, 3 attacks per round, 13.5m movement, misty step/short rest (item). I feel like a god.

Oh, and catching and throwing arrows back at my attackers is bananas.

I’m trying to math your AC. Guessing 18 dex, 16 wis, and bracers of defense? Must’ve dumped most your other stats except con.

Anyway I’m level four, still haven’t seen much new from early access content in 2020, still having an utter blast. This will almost certainly be my GotY.

Im level 3 and just started getting a ton of companions and having to leave people back at camp and i havent even found the lizard lady again yet. I went Rogue Thief which sounds cool but I don't use the bonus moves correctly i think.

Read Dead Redemption being a port is such bullsh*t by Rockstar. As soon as the rumors started about a remake/remaster they should have got out in front and confirmed it's just a port. And for $50. That company is out of their minds.
F*** Marc Davis, f*** Tim Donaghy and f*** David Stern as a staff, record label and as a mothaf**kin crew......and if you wanna be down with Stern then F*** YOU TOO!!! Stu Jackson f*** you too.....all you mothaf**kas F*** YOU TOO!!!!

20 and 16, and yes I dumped a couple. I believe I'm 8/20/14/8/16/10. Yes to bracers. From the AC POV, I am mildly concerned about how it will scale as I progress in acts - in that it won't. 19 feels godly in A1 (which I'm wrapping up in the next couple days), but I imagine it will feel less so by A3. I believe there are no features in later levels to improve the unarmored AC, but maybe there will be some robes or something. Guess I'll see.

I know some people are playing STR monks in medium armor, but I love my movement way too much to give it up. And I just don't need to right now. Going to get to level 6 in Monk, then will start a Rogue dip and see how it feels.

I didn't realize how much bigger A1 was than what I had played in EA so many years ago. I thought for sure I was in A2 already, but I googled for reference and discovered - nope. This game is massive.

I'm quite enjoying all the companions in BG3 so far. Wish I could adventure with all of them, all the time. Finding myself back at camp pretty frequently, switching them out for short periods.

Anyone summon any of the hirelings yet? Do they have actual personalities, or are they kind of just stat blocks?
