Wouldn’t be a proper offseason with the season being ruined before it begins.

On his IG from about 5 hours ago, he has a clip of him doing a shooting drill where he jogs into ATB threes. Either it's a minor foot thing and him not playing is precautionary or it's an old clip or he got injured after those shooting drills and the time of the tweet.

Anyway, kinda expected that we'd be clenching our buttholes the entire season due to injury risk to our three bigs.

Yeah it’s a good point they need this guy for the playoffs. Regular season really doesn’t matter, Blake and Kornet were just fine.

Welp, nevertheless.

If you can't trust the Celtics on players' injuries, who can you trust?

Seems like nothing serious. Better now than heading into the Playoffs. If you thought Porzingis was ever getting through the season with a clean bill of health, you haven't been paying attention to his career.

What does Luca Brasi have to say about the Porzingis Crisis?

Luca says nothing, because Luca sleeps with the fishes.

Good to see they haven’t amputated him yet.

Well, it's the risk you take trading for KP and it's a big reason why I would like to see Malcolm go. Between him, KP and Rob this team is too reliant on injury prone guys. I'd love to see if the Nets would be open to some package of Malcolm and picks for Dinwiddie and Royce.

So Porzingis is hurt. What else is new? What about Svi Mykhailiuk?

BTW, Marcus Smart appears to be the picture of health.

I'm sorry, these players making millions of dollars should not be playing year round or in these tournaments. Happens too often where someone gets hurt and screws a franchise that still has to pay him. It's just dumb and selfish.

I’m just going to believe he’s fine and is using this as the excuse to rest for training camp

I don’t really disagree.. NBA contracts have a number of stipulations preventing guys from rock climbing, kayaking, skateboarding.. all that stuff. I know at one point on his first go around, the Lakers were livid with Shroder for skateboarding in the summer. Almost voided his contract, or thought about it.

I know European guys are much more into playing internationally but I’d be pissed as Wyc or Brad even knowing they signed Gallinari expecting him to play a large role and then they get nothing all season because of what was it? Not even a cup game? Silly.

Lol you aren't giving up this year, are you?

KP is a better player than Smart. Memphis is going to love him once he offsets his winning plays with shooting 3s like he's Steph Curry.

Maybe so, but the most important ability is availability.

Over the course of their careers, Brogdon, on average, plays more games per season than Dinwiddie. Not sure if this is the best trade to beat the injury bug.

Yes, what has happened to Svi. Sigh...

I don't see any recent news. I thought the team in Greece had him signed, but I can't find anything definitive. He should come to Boston, grab a couple three rings, then do his Euro wanderlust.

Don’t worry about Porzingis, Blake Griffin could be coming back to Boston

Return to Boston Celtics
