If you're asking about the ice that was on his knee, I think that's just part of the post workout process. I saw Bobby Portis and someone else also icing their knees.

Anyone able to watch the Germany stream?

Germany wins, Franz was able to get some much needed buckets late in the 4th. Schroder played well, defense was good. Mo did not play well, but he may be injured.

Germany is being seriously underestimated in.this tournament, i think. Beati g Canada just confirms it for me.

Good news for Orlando fans. Franz has shortened a lot the dip to his waist in his jumpshot. Getting it off faster.

Franz still working that rust off but it's good to see him having a big role with Germany despite being so young

We really need Cole's rebounding

We just aren't going to get a ton of rebounds out of Franz and Paolo unfortunately (especially Franz though). Guards will have to pick up the slack.

average height of SF is below 6'7.
You would think being near 7 foot means you get ball bounced in your direction 5 times a game by accident.

Franz is very, very, very good player ( best Magic player last year by far) ,but rebounding and lack of "in between" game are his weakneses.

Also that 4rpg for an avg SF is misleading, because that's in 24mpg. Comes out around 6rpg per 36, and Franz is only at around 4.6rpg/36 which is low for a SF, let alone a guy his size. But that could be due to style of play, not necessary that he's a poor rebounder. Would love to see Franz brings it up to like 7rpg, but I'm not too concerned about individual rebounding numbers as long as the team rebound well.
