Low rebounds again huh. Lol

i mean.............

i know him being 6'10 you would expect more but.....how much more?

Well.. if our C and PF are known to be great rebounders or at least averages double figures in that department, Franz 4 rpg wouldn't be so noticeable. However, they don't so why isn't Franz averaging at least 6-7 rpg? Especially ge us 6'10. IS it by design he doesn't stay near the paint during rebounds?

Good side : Paolo does have regular minutes in Team USA and not just the bench
Bad side : He plays the backup C role.

If backup C is how he gets minutes, who cares what position he is?

P.S. I always find his shot to be very.. unappealing lol. Like there's nothing wrong with it, but aesthetically he's kind of not a pleasing shooter. His legs kind of just dangle down and he shoots on the way down.. but I love him so it's okay Paolo <3

I went and I watched this video to see if something has changed. He seem to be shooting differently with team USA.

Yeah the one shot was like an exaggerated one (probably didnt mean for his legs to kick back like that) - but I noticed similar things during the season. It's just mostly he shoots on downward momentum which is what throws me off.

*sidenote from FIBA...I love seeing these Franz & Paolo highlights. I'm so focused on the question marks (around them) like Fultz, Black, Herro, Suggs, Isaac, Howard, etc and I tend to forget how solid we are at two spots. Two legit stars in the making.

Herro?

As a seemingly available trade target…one of the many questions surrounding our backcourt

Would argue we are also solid at center too. All I want from WCJ is to average 65+ games a year regular season and play all of the playoffs.

I see that Chip Engelland is part of the coaching staff of the USA team. I hope Paolo takes advantage working with him even just for this duration. Hoping Paolo improves.

This is playing out according to my best case scenario so far. Franz is the man and they are winning.

I have to be honest the better Franz and Paolo look the more willing I’m to move on from all other players on the Magic for pieces that fit with both.

Won’t be able to watch the game but enjoy it for me. I didn’t realize that Franz played today.
