I think those who want Christian Wood don't really value professionalism, and work culture.
There is no denying that Wood has talent, but Drummond himself in a clip released several months ago, with him talking to a bunch of kids at a camp, that no matter how talented you are, if you act like a turd and have attitude problems, teams aren't going to waste their time on you.
There is a reason why lesser talented players, but who are professionals on and off the court stick around the league for as long as they do, in some instances questionably so, then there are others who are much more talented, where at the first sign of their talents diminishing or constant issues they are never to be seen again or are a part of any organisation thereafter.
A player who has the numbers that he has, should not still be a free agent at this stage in the off season, if that is not a glaring red flag, I don't know what is. You can be critical of the Bulls for not signing him, but if we are an idiotic franchise for not signing him, the same can be said for the other 29 teams. Because I bet, the teams that are willing to give him a chance, are going to make sure they offer him a deal where there is the least possible risk, where they can simply dump him quick if things don't work out.
Why so serious?
