Post#1 » by ItsaVC3 » Sat Oct 27, 2007 8:10 pm

Can someone tell me why the yankees still want the most overrated player in baseball they sound like hes going to come back and do good in the playoffs ( that will never happen he just sucks a** ) do u think they want him cause he good in the regular season i thought the yankees care more about the playoffs then the regular season. i say we go and get cabrera or atkins maybe i mean they will do better then arod in the playoffs. we should start calling arod AWHO?

I'm just guessing here, but...

1) He is the best player in baseball

In most cases, people want the best player in the sport (arguably EVER) on their team.

If not for A Rod, we dont SNIFF the postseason this year.

Cabrera? The guy that will command big bucks while being subpar defensively, overweight & too concerned with hitting the long ball? No thanks. Let someone else overpay for him.

Cabrera's great, but he's also going to be playing first base before too long (DH should he go to the AL).

As for ARod, if we manage to lose both him and Posada, goodbye offense.
