Would you trade Reaves for Harden?

I am a big Reaves fan.

That said, Lakers window is now.

Straight up, would you trade Reaves + salary for Harden?

Nope. Hardens cliff is really steep considering the mileage and hard partying lifestyle and it won’t surprise me if next season is his Westbrook moment.

That’s gonna be a no from me dawg. He’s league leader in efficiency at guard at a decent enough volume. Harden provides more volume less efficiency which isn’t what we need on a team w this many scorers. Dlo and harden are basically redundant at this stage of their careers, just one is way cheaper than the other
Warspite:

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

No for me too.
Reaves would be completely out of the question.

The question for me is would I even want Harden on this team at all. He's a decent offensive player that can score and get assists. But he's not efficient. His shooting percentage was 40 and 44 % the last two years.
He doesn't play defense. His rebounding numbers are okay.
He is ball dominant and on a team with LBJ, I'm not sure we need more of that.
He's out of shape and doesn't hustle.

Harden at his age and contract situation doesn’t have the value of a young promising wing like Reaves.

Who is a better 3pt shooter?
A better fit with a ball dominant Lebron?
Who is younger?
Who is a better locker room guy, better attitude?
Who is a better defender?

I wouldn't take Harden for free. A slightly (SLIIIIIIIGHTLY) better version of Westbrick.

And what makes you think Harden's that guy.

I'm just flat out picking playoff Reaves > any version of playoff

At this rate, I can see Reaves getting his number retired in the stands.

LFG!!! lol

For real though, I've never really thought as highly of Harden, so it's an easy pass.
