James didn’t hold up his end of the bargain either. Screw him.

Add on: Harden said this while visiting China. He knew what he was doing and now no one will give anything up for him.

Like I said. Enjoy the bench.

This is either being facetious or it's the most insane take yet in this entire joke of an off season.

Not sure you can trade execs, only coaches and players I believe

Great look as we get ready for an off season with cap space where our last three stars left disgruntled and upset with management decisions. What a well run franchise.

Eh, you really think Morey promised this to Harden, and put the Sixers into a corner, of a can't win situation. I highly doubt he promised this, no matter what. He would have put conditions which Harden obviously didn't meet.

Like I said, what have we done deserve this?

Anyways...Are we sure that's not an A.I. bot? He looks too skinny to be the real Harden.

Feel like ownership caving to the pressure and firing Hinkie cursed this franchise.

Yeah I absolutely Daryl would say something and go back on it when it doesn't suit him. Happened with his China comments.

I think Harden was super naive to think a verbal discussion had any real value though. Morey is a shark, he's not making a bad decision if he isn't contractually obliged.

Sixers are in a good spot though, Morey is taking the heat. They can discard Morey if this has impact on how NBA players see dealing with him.

Why would other players give a crap? Fulton was injured and never lived up to his billing into the draft and the issues were his own doing; Simmons has obviously continued to have issues with a new team; and no one wants Harden.

If he actually did it, its pretty sleazy, but also stupid. I get why he wouldn't have that in writing, I just can't understand why he wouldn't put conditions, i.e. perform in the playoffs and don't **** the bed.

Also feel like the China stuff is a little different. If he didn't go back on it, his NBA career would have been over, and he would have been blackballed, not sure if that's the same. Also that's really China being a bully, and telling the NBA, that it's not okay, which is again BS. Daryl was standing for something that was good.

I'm not a Daryl apologist, just don't think you can really compare the two situations.

Meh, Daryl is playing to win. If NBA players don't like that then Sixers can discard Morey if this negatively impacts his ability to form a great team.

Although I wouldn't mind if Harden got Morey fired. That might be his greatest contribution to the franchise.
