Let all the facts come out, but I am hoping the rumour of Franco being with a 14 year old girl are not true. Incredibly sad that a guy who signed a 11 year contract worth 182 million dollars (potential to be up to 223 million), is chasing minors, when he would have no problem getting any beautiful woman he wanted with his fame and fortune. Again let the investigation transpire, but I am hoping this is not true.

Wait…what are you hoping for? Personally, I’m hoping he didn’t have sex with a 13 year old.

Not hoping for that, just meant he's F'd if the allegations are true, and he'll need to lawyer up!

Not a lot of real information to go off of. Comments on Reddit are saying that apparently she was 14 when he was 17 or 18 (when the relationship started). He also says she (and her mom) lied about her age and said she was older (although even if they didn't, there wouldn't have been anything illegal if he was also a kid when it started).

My immediate thought when I heard the story was that it was another Karl Malone or Felipe Vazquez situation. But this might actually be a non-issue.

18->14 is an issue.

Good night for the Jays.

Astros lose to the Marlins
Mariners down 3-0 to the lowly Royals
Yanks get blown out

Saw a tweet saying a different minor filed a police report in DR about Franco today. This situation gets more horrifying by the day.

Crap The Royals were up 5-0 after 7 against Seattle... they have now blew the lead. Were one strike away from the win.
5-5, top of the ninth.

EDIT - Now 6-5 for the Mariners top of 9th.

This would be why it’s a bad thing the Mariners play the Royals and Athletics a total of 13 times the rest of the season. We are doomed.

Both the Royals and A's are on pace to lose 110 or more games.

When was the last time a league had 2 teams lose 110 games in a season -- or has that ever happened?

Coming into tonight, 42% of the Mariners remaining schedule is against the Royals, A’s, White Sox, and Mets. They also have 3 against the Angels who stink too.

The Jays f’d around too much. They have next to no margin for error.

Royals tie it up at 6 - show more clutch ability than the Jays.

Blue jays need to take notes. What a smart decision to bunt

That’s a huge break for the Jays, and heartbreaking for the Mariners.

Just saw the winning play was a squeeze - so rare to see nowadays. An exciting play.
I guess its easier to call those type of plays when you are a 50 win team

Given the lack of productivity the Jays have with runner on 3rd and less than 2 out, perhaps executing the squeeze a few time isn't so crazy.
But its crazy.

If you know how to bunt, it’s a play that’s pretty impossible to defend in that spot. Unfortunately we only have like 2 guys on the roster who know how to do it. Under no circumstances should Schneider be asking guys to bunt if they aren’t good at it.
