Maybe to help him have more speed perhaps or maybe I'm just seeing things.

He has steadily gotten lighter ever since getting busted for PED's.

Where it inhibits him is that he's really light in the ass - hence why we've seen much smaller guys going after his legs when boxing him out time after time.

I am mainly concerned with his defense this year, which we really didn't see. I didn't see a whole lot we haven't seen before. As for fumbling the ball. The first one was bad but nice recovery. The second one was a bad bounce pass below his knees, but he ended up gathering. There was one later he didn't drop but didn't catch cleanly, but the pass was behind him and he had to try and catch one handed with his left hand and still gathered it. It's hard to gauge the offense against the competition but I can't really complain with anything I saw. I like that he is trying to dribble more. It's obviously not his strength, but it's good to see he has worked on it some and is trying new things..that's what we want to see, as sunskerr said.

I'm always happy to see players try to expand their game. Particularly just trying to add a simple pump fake and drive which we've only seen a handful of times on the Suns. That's something that's nice to have even as a 4th option behind Book KD Beal.

Not saying it's already been added to his repertoire after half an off-season but this is sort of how you get better at the game of basketball lol.

Where are guys ripping him for playing for his country?

Fair enough if there aren't any posts getting on him for that. But I'm pretty sure there were two or three posts a week or so ago. But again, I'm not liking some of the criticism here for Ayton because I think it's wrong to criticize players taking fairly obvious steps at improving their game.

If you wanna criticize him for developing the wrong skills (i.e. argue he should not develop a dribble drive) or think he could develop better playing elsewhere in the offseason, I guess that's more the area people should be arguing in. But I think it's basically impossible to argue those points anyway.

On a side note, I would love to see Team Bahamas win this thing. US will win gold (probably) in the Olympics anyway. Would be a fun story.

Just realized there are still decent free agents available. Kelly Oubre Jr, Terrence Ross, TJ Warren. Anyone have an opinion where these guys will potentially land?

I’ve been saying Kelly Oubre for awhile. Dude averaged 20pts and 5rebs last year and not on a roster. That’s pretty crazy to me. He must want some time away. Imo, he’s easily a rotational player. I would have him as our 5th roster in a heart beat. Some may say he plays selfishly, I am willing to take that risk on a vet contract. He’s great insurance if KD gets hurt and has played with Beal in the past.

That’s why they beat ‘em by 40! Y’all will complain to complain! Instead of saying , dang I see him dribbling from 3 pt and reverse dunking ! Ahhh he played Cuba wah wah wah

Yea I do think it's still important to see him doing it.
We'll see if he can translate it against bigger names as well as in NBA games. Good sign none-the-less

The point in my post was this exactly. Putting perspective around what he and Gordon are doing out there vs a pretty poor national team and that what we see may not necessarily translate to the NBA level.

I'm guessing we're waiting to see how the market moves before we start using those TPE's, otherwise I'd be all over KOJ and offering him a role and a one year deal with that Cam TPE. He's probably waiting on a bigger, longer term deal but if he strikes out, that $6.5m pay day is not the worst thing

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

If you know basketball and off-season. He wants multi year contract . Nobody wants him for more years . Also dude lacks defense !

Yeah I wasn't suggesting Suns get KO, I was wondering where he would land.
Personally, feel like the Grizzlies should take a look at him.

Oubre is going to end up in Sacramento, Atlanta, Spurs, Knicks, or Raptors. Those teams are the top 5 who are interested

I saw a lot of Boston stuff about them hoping they could get him to signOubre into their space (like $4.6 million or something).

What's your take on Oubre? Seems pretty split on here.
