I am just saying that I think Morey would be able to turn Embiid into something of good value, but the outcome would be a second round loss again, it would just not be 4-3 but e.g., 4-1.
You can say what you want about Morey, but in the context of regular season wins he is one of the best GM's of all time: "Morey's teams with the Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers have won 62 percent of their regular-season games over his 16 seasons leading their front offices, which ranks fourth all time among execs with 15-plus years of experience, behind only R.C. Buford, Red Auerbach, and Jerry West".
I don't think Embiid will want out anyway...although if he doesn't become more of a team player and is injured during playoffs, we might as well only watch the regular season.
