This is probably the least excited I’ve ever been for a season. 8th seed? 1st seed? Does it really matter? We don’t have a single younger player that could potentially be a star. That’s the problem. We are what we are. Giannis is Giannis. Mids is mids. Holiday is holiday. It would be nice if we had 1 22 year old thst could be a star but we don’t and anyone that thinks we do is a homer

Lol funny well bud isnt there might be different this year hope it is.Heat fans will never let us forget the curb stomping they did to us last year

Will be interesting to see if this is the first season in awhile that half our team isn't banged up by the 4th game of the season now Bud is no longer the head coach.

I mean... Depends on your definition of good to great.

Bucks were the three seed, as was Golden State two years ago.

Golden state was a great regular season team til injuries hit them in the middle of the season. The bucks were a good regular season team to me. I can’t remember the last time we’ve seen a team with a mediocre or ok regular season record win it all. Has anyone lower than a 3 seed won it in the last 20-30 years? The spurs right?

I want the bucks to look at Denver and try to replicate that, not Miami or LA. Winning a lot of games in the regular season is still an indicator of a championship level team. The bucks should be able to get to the post season healthy and rested with hca because that’s what teams who wins championships do.

Lower than a three seed has happened twice.

Out of curiosity, what's your theory here? Seems most fans are upset at how little Bud used his players. Are you saying he pushed them too much?

Bud pushing his players too hard early and therefore sustaining injuries in the first week of the season is a new one.

I'll watch every game as I always do, during good times and bad.

I've been lucky to have seen Giannis play in person many times. To see our current great team play in person many times. I don't take that for granted. I know a lot of you don't live in the Milwaukee area and don't have that opportunity. So when I went to a game and Giannis, or another starter, was rested it was no big deal. But it has become a bigger deal to me. Load management isn't going anywhere, new coach or not. I'm done paying full price to watch guys being rested. I'll be at the opener, a few other games during the season and some playoff games but the number of RS games I'll attend will be reduced by about half.

I've been super lucky to only have one game I went to Giannis sat. And even more lucky that it was a game I paid like $60 to sit up in the 208/218 section. Every time I've paid the big bucks for a front 5-10 row seat he's played. That said, just because life I rarely go to regular season games anymore and typically just end up doing playoffs. If I can only make 2-3 games a year I'm going to ensure it's the playoffs.

Middleton is the swizzle that stirs the concoction and is the difference in champion or not. Giannis is our MVP but Mids when he is cooking is what makes everyone else better. Khris and Giannis breaks defenses and starts the bleeding for the others to throw their daggers in death by a thousand cuts. How do you defend a Giannis+Khris pnr? You foul them every time because the refs can’t call it every time down the floor right? The Heat shouldn’t crush your hopes. They showed once again that heart can carry you all the way to the finals. They just didnt have enough talent to clinch it. We have the talent. Offense is what gives our team confidence and Khris is the linchpin. Defense is how we win even when that offense isnt cooking and our defense was lacking in the playoffs last year. Coach has already shown in summer league that we are going to play multiple defenses this year. And we do have some young talent on this roster. It may take all year for it to flourish but its there. Marjon gaining confidence in the paint just needs a consistent jumper to open up his game. Jackson is an athletic freak AND his vision on both ends of the floor. AJ Green is more than just a catch and shoot. Plus we added the human torch in Beasley. Best of all though is Boston gave away Smart AND let Grant Williams go, lolololol. AND, lol, AND THEY PAID JAYLEN BROWN!! The highest paid player in the league doesnt have the handles to attack a closeout. Zinger is a nice player but I do not fear him. The Hear lost Vincent and Strus, they can coach some guys up but at the moment its going to be Herro and Duncan Robinson taking those spots, defense going to step back. Philly is on fire atm and they fired a players coach and replaced him with a micro manager. Recipe for a powder keg. Cheer up, Giannis went into the offseason mad and he isnt going to play fiba. On the other hand Bobby is getting some great coaching this summer and I think he will be better for it. Its going to be a good year my friend, just wait and see.

Pretty wild for someone to outright admit that they're happier being a fan of young tanking/rebuilding teams than they are being a fan of a consistent championship contender with at worst a Top-2 player in the world.imo

Think he's saying Bud sat his guys with fake injuries early in the year for load management purposes.

If that's his take it's off. Load management isn't going away. There will be "injuries" that sit players throughout the season. Giannis isn't all of a sudden going to play 75 games.

I didn't even go to a game last year. Which is probably a first in the past 10. Was even offered a couple tickets, but I looked at the availability and the opponent and decided I didn't feel like a G-league game that particular night.

I am curious (on the general point) to see whether we seem to be more or less cautious with injuries than we've been. I personally don't think that's been originating from Bud even if he agreed with it.

It was collaborative decisions with the goal to get to the playoffs as healthy as possible. And it worked. And then Giannis goes down against Miami (and Khris against the Bulls the year before). Nothing could have done in the RS to prevent that.

As a fan I don't like seeing guys sit. But I can't argue against the goal of getting to mid April with injuries being as minimized as possible. We're an old team. And Giannis has chronic knee pain. Making them play 75-80 games makes no sense.

I don’t think I care much about regular season any longer. Games not being televised here on my services has definitely had a major impact on that.

I’ll be following the developments of the young guys and watching YT reviews instead
