Miami is keeping an eye out with WHAT?

Lmao this is always my reaction seeing Miami mentioned. I'm sure Morey is tripping over himself to trade for the usual pu pu platter of junk that is thrown around

I mean, Bam is a great piece in an Embiid trade...

If you get bam and then all the picks they have and maybe jovic, it's not a bad deal. Then you keep bam or move him to a 3rd team for even more youth

What makes the dame offers a joke is that there is no decent core piece in the deal

The Sixers can't wait to waste another five years averaging 15 wins a season just so they can assemble a team that gets wrecked in the second round by Tatum every spring.

Embiid takes the air out of his teammates. He will never win anything.

Especially if you team him up with Simmons, Fultz, Harris or Harden. Philly is a dumpster fire of an organization.

I'm keeping an eye out for Kate Upton to ask out of her marriage.

Doesn't look like Svi is coming here.

That's ok - his defense worries me..plays like this is likely why he barely got any mins last season on the Knicks:

Then, let's look at the late season hornets vs thunder game:

-Early on, Giddey takes him off the dribble and scores easily
-At 4:43 Giddey just blows by him for the layup
-At 7:28 Svi can't quite close out on the shooter tight enough and Joe hits the 3
-At 7:58 Giddey is able to drive in and score way too easily here, with Svi getting hit by a screen while defending Giddey
-At 8:08 Jalen williams gets the ball, Svi defending him. Jalen is able to put the ball on the floor, go by Svi and score very easily

It's probably not ideal to have so many suspect defenders coming off our bench (Pritchard, Hauser, Svi, Brogdon, Kornet)

Also, while Svi shot the ball very well last season, it was on a small sample size of games. The season before that he only shot 30% from 3 and the season before that he only shot 33% from 3.

Terence Davis might be the guy..

Embiid is linked to the same teams as usual. Thats not a surprise. I'd like if just for once someone like Embiid actually wanted to be a Celtic and win a title instead of being a celebrity or being on a beach on off days.

I was never really on the Svi train, would rather Austin Rivers, but he wasn't the worst option

I'm in favor of signing Rivers - only issue with him is whether he would be ok with more of a limited role.

per Washburn, Rivers "is looking for more than a mentor role.”

Well, if that is the case, he should get better at playing basketball in the NBA.

Looking down the list of available NBA free agents, I think the best option is to reacquire Romeo Langford.
