Portland should come out and say/leak they've shut down Lillard to Miami talks.

This would put pressure on Riley to find a 3rd team or risk Lillard expanding his trade destinations.

I think the only thing he was loyal to was the money. What he's done this offseason has put that organization in a terrible spot.

And that’s why I’m about the buy low offers :D :P

If they were that desperate for Lillard, they would have probably done something by now. They're hoping they get him for cheap or probably won't trade for him..

Lillard's value seems pretty low.

Lets get Lillard. How hard can it be to beat a Herro+crappy picks offer? Maybe POR wants to punish Lillard by sending him to TOR like SA punished Kawhi.

Lillard+Siakam would be a killer duo and the east is pretty wide open.

If you can do it keeping OG, Scottie, and Poeltl, sign me up.

Even though I would like to trade Pascal for prospects/picks, if we go the other direction and trade for Dame, we'd want to keep Pascal to give us the best shot in a short window.

With Dame's gravity, it should open up the floor more for Pascal to operate in the paint.

I'd be fine parting with OG + filler + sweetener for Dame, but no thanks if we're giving up Barnes.

OG doesn’t pull Lillard. Good grief.

I believe you pointed out you'd want Simmons over Herro for a Dame trade. As of right now OG definitely has more value than Simmons unless it's the PHX unprotected picks that you're mostly after which I can understand.

That said, I'm not trying to convince you. I already know what your thoughts were before your response lol.

Dame + Siakam isn't a contender anyways.

Expiring OG looking for top dollar as UFA has little value.

If there’s a Dame trade, it would be Barnes going the other way. The player timelines work that way.

Barnes + Trent + Boucher + Thad works

Portland probably flips Trent and Boucher, and runs with a star young core of Scoot, Shaedon and Scottie. That’s the best young trio in the league.

New Raps:

Lillard / Schroder / OG / Siakam / Poeltl
Flynn? / Dick / J McDaniels / Achiuwa / Koloko

That bench backcourt is weak. But if we get a good combo guard off the bench, its game on.

Have to put in the chips at some point with Dame and Embiid (soon to be) on the market.

naa barnes AND trent + boucher is too much for lillard, maybe if it was the lillard of couple years ago sure, not now. we giving too much i think.

Lillard isn’t the right move for TOR in any case; too far from contention.

For the millionth time, why would the Raptors offer Barnes when they're competing against a Tyler Herro package?

You don’t have anything else POR wants.

Until you show me what package is available, that's the asking price.
