You don't make a comment about teammates like that for the sole reason of avoiding it being misconstrued. This dude really needs media lessons - he continues to put some really stupid ish out there sometimes.
Definitely some low key shade though.
Dude you are such a crybaby. You cry about anything Ayton related. Move on ! We all know you are a hater
Dude said these teamates were playing for their country and that’s what makes them great. He has been a good locker room guy and his teamates like him! You don’t, and we don’t care
May be playing for something other than a second contract has inspired BoyBlunder?
What ? Me Worry ?

A proof it was just a stupid quote. Maybe it was never only about the money as most on this board assumed all this time ?
Nice to see Ayton is proud representing his country. Serbian fans on GB are furious about Jokic skipping World Cup.
If Ayton's main goal is collecting paychecks then there is always that next contract.

I am so happy that this season will start and I wont have to watch Landry Shamet at the table waiting to be subbed in, EVER AGAIN!!!!

Is anyone else worried that the Suns will trade Ayton for Harden and then sign McGee? They aren’t that stupid, right?

No, they aren’t trading Ayton now.
And wow, what a terrible signing for the Mavs. McGee never deserved that contract.

I put $20 on it. Would pay $1120, but not sure he’s going to average enough points to win. I feel it’s worth the risk.

I put my $5 bet on him when it was +6000 (right after the Argentina win).

his case may be helped if our team does great this season. 6th men on elite teams tend to get more support than ones on lottery teams, even if the stats aren't as good. And he will have PLENTY of chances to show his abilities on the big stage since we have so many national TV games.

He probably heard it from others. Jalen Rose talking with Bill Simmons used to say the talk was all about getting to that second contract...that's when you know you've made it. At the time I was thinking because that's when you get the real money out of a rookie contract but maybe it's more that it may be easy to get drafted with talent, but you have to work to stay in the league.
But I'm pretty sure it's something he heard and people talk about. It was still dumb to say though.

I like bets like that. Not a lot to risk but a huge payoff. I got sick of straight betting, and got into more odds...mostly somewhat big parlays, before I quit.
I really like those odds, but I wouldn't be as worried about points as either injuries or injuries to others forcing him to start and not having enough games off the bench.

I'm mainly doing futures this year...better odds and a wait and see approach... put 10 dollars in every now and then and make 10 1 dollar bets on whatever I'm feeling...and you don't lose right away which is nice...ha...I'll still do 1 dollar parlays throughout the season because they are fun and don't expect to win but when u do it's cool....cheap bets with big odds are the way...it's crazy to me the people that bet like 20 bucks to make 5 bucks....
I like to assume every bet is an L basically...
I don't want to lose 20 bucks for the chance at 5 bucks...
But I'll happily lose 1 buck for a chance at 50

Garuba probably will get picked up by any competent rebuilding team. Ty Ty I guess there is something there but imo he has more ways to go than Garuba. Garubas got a skill set that we don't really have so I'd rather have him 3rd string than Bol.

Lol. And still people will say he doesn't need to be coddled."Mannnnn I’m like the guy that pissed this whole board off saying literally all year no Mikal, no Mikal in the KD trade."

Dude needs to shut up and dribble. MJ never admired himself like Ayton, Lebron and others do in todays game. Let your game speak for yourself and quit posting on Tik tok or Facebook for extra sympathy posts.

Awful take. Do you really want Ayton to dribble? No... we have Booker, Beal, KD, even EG.
