Rudy was good 3 years ago. I rather have Sato and sell some Filipino jerseys and league pass.
Just wait for buyout. OPJ will be available.

No.
Complete hands of stone, and I think he’d be completely lost in the Warriors’ system. Pass.
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

Always hoped he would turn into a terrific rebounder OR shot blocker. He’s just an avg backup. Still gets about a block per game short minutes. He has a good big frame - just couldn’t catch onto the little things to become a star.

Think he peaked as an average backup about 6 years ago.. he sure isnt one now, or else he'd be employed
Though he could be an average backup on the international market, I guess? But out there they really like their players to be smart and versatile, and Biyombo is neither. Maybe he rides the 10-day circuit? But there's a very good chance he's seen his last full-year contract in the NBA, and thats even after one of his best seasons in the past 3 years

IIRC, CP3 had a pretty good year at age 37, I think maybe his first year with the Suns? They were touting dietary changes he made.
Are you really trying to compare Steph and CP3 to Gay?

Wish Warriors could land Kevin Love. I think he and CP in the second unit would really help the teams depth.

Believe its 2 days after the waiving is official
Man I really wish I could do a data dump of why Garuba's such a great fit here.. best I can do is say that he profiles *extremely* close to Looney, quite possibly better than anyone else in the NBA. And I know that not everyone here agrees with it, but I'm pro more Looney. Undersized but especially smart players FTMFW

I really see Garuba as draymond lite. Is a perfect fit for how we play but wouldn’t make an impact on these more highly iso based teams and teams that don’t switch heavily.

Re: More Free Agent Talk
He doesn't cover nearly enough ground off-ball to be Draymond.. can't play PF, can't handle very well. When I say he profiles extremely close to Looney, its in almost every aspect. From the off-ball defense to the open space rebounding to the quality no-dribble passing, its eerie. Hell if you look at the 3 Looney seasons before we switched systems in 20-21, they have some nearly identical public facing stats too - rebrate, ast%, stl%, blk%
I think he's even closer to Bogut than he is Draymond tbh

Probably doesn't make sense to go after Garuba now that we have TJD. I really don't think we're looking for a 5th center.

Maybe not, but itd be nice to have Looney insurance. We havent seen a situation where Looney was out extended time, and just like when Draymond went out a couple years ago, and when Wiggins went out last year, we saw how bad it can get defensively when we don't have those 3 fully operational. TJD having a gtd contract means little to me - we invested in guys at 2, 7, and 14 and they got very few minutes, they had to earn it by leapfrogging someone plucked off the wire
But Garuba has big international game experience, plays the right way, is a near ideal fit for the roster.. if this isn't why they kept the 14th slot open, then why? I know folks want to bring in a wing.. but guards and wings are where you can find the most value on 2 ways. Bigs you can use are very rarely on those kinds of deals, and I would expect Garuba to get some end of the roster spot somewhere

I'm pretty sure he's retired, but I wouldnt want to bring in a vet forward at this stage anyways. Still love the guy, but all he would be is someone who could potentially roadblock Moody, maybe Kuminga too
Javonte Green would be fine if we dont get Garuba, because theoretically he could play SG more. But with the 14th spot, I would much rather have a safety net for a potentially injured starter than a spot minutes guy who would likely be out of the rotation in meaningful games. We've seen how bad it can get when one of Wiggins/Draymond is injured, and while Looney isnt as important as them, he's pretty damn close

I've read he's really bad now, but we rejuvenated his career before and this time we only need him sparingly. CP3 lob buddy.
