Awful take. Do you really want Ayton to dribble? No... we have Booker, Beal, KD, even EG.

Very awful, the most awful take you’ve seen in the past few years. How will I survive this awful takes?

Jesus go away for awhile and it's still the same DA crap over and over and over, isn't there a way to just create an Ayton page and remove it from the main. Suns section

Interesting how the Ayton haters follow his instagram or twitter and analyze his every tweet looking for clues into his psyche.

Please get some help.

I actually saw this on Reddit, I’d never waste my time following DA or anyone on Twitter for that matter. Also I put this here because people are still in denial about adolescent ayton and his feelers. It’s ok if you don’t want to talk about DA, but if y’all gaslight us for 3 pages saying “he’s not insecure it’s all in your head” of course I’m going to show up with proof. And it took like a week to come out

Speaking common sense is now regarded as being labeled a “hater”. Get a hold of yourself and learn to read between the lines. Ayton is a weak minded person who continues to not only hurt himself, but the entire team in general when he opens his mouth through the media on twitter, Tik tok or whatever site these kids use now a days. Dude should have been traded a long time ago so we can rebuild our team better for a playoff run.

I always thought of BW as more of a Lord Ganesha, there's just something about an anthropomorphized elephant with divine powers that screams BW Good to me.

no - actually I think the joke went over his head and he +1 it because he thought qwigglez was being serious about Ayton not dribbling when it was clear you were using the phrase as a metaphor for “stfu and play”. Or maybe Qwigglez took it literally that you wanted Ayton to dribble and he’s the dummy. I got a lot of angles here boys and I’m not even high.

Yuta Watanabe will play in less than a couple hours his first game in the FIBA World Cup. He is the only Suns player in the tournament.

Almost remained without Suns players after it appeared he got injured on his 20th point dunk. Looks unathletic and injury prone. Mostly doing damage from midrange and apparently missed a lot of 3s in first half which I missed.

OT but the loss of Bray Wyatt is the most devastating loss from pro wrestling since Eddie Guerrero. Like losing someone know you.

He played a good game. 20 points, 6 boards, 2 assists and 2 blocks. 9/19 shooting.

Two bad things today:

He missed too many threes, he ended 2/10.

He isn’t an strong rebounder. He looks way better defending perimeter players other than frontcourt/big players. Theis particularly dominated him around the rim with his positioning and strength.

I think he is gonna be great as a bench role player on the Suns. He will probably play most of his minutes next to KD or KBD, so I think he will defend SFs most of the time.

As long as fans temper expectations for these vet min guys (aside from Gordon), we won't be disappointed. Can't expect star performances when few other teams in the league thought highly enough of them.
Plus, it takes time to build chemistry and have shooting rhythm. It'll take time for the new guys to find their role.

I honestly expect NOTHING from him except perimeter play both on offense and defense. He won't be a guy taking it to the hoop or being able to recover if a guy turns the corner on him.

If you watch his highlights on the other thread there is evidence that he can do that. Granted, not NBA competition, but then again he'll be facing bench players here as well. Still, he won't be asked to do that, but its a nice to have when you have a broken play, or agressive closeouts on him on the corner - he can put it on the floor and take it to the rim. He even had a nice pass under the rim to a trailer for an easy dunk when the defense collapsed on him at the rim after he beat his guy on the closeout.
So if he hits his 3's at a decent clip he can be a very nice complementary player for a contender with 4-6 players ahead of him in the pecking order. To put it another way - if he is your 7th man you have a FCKN awsome team! :)

Here's Japan vs Germany highlights but only with Japanese commentary. Yuta is #12.

I saw the game.

Context is everything though. "Quality" NBA teams go 7-8 deep and he's not going to be up against chumps like he's seeing so far in international play.
