Boston won 12-2, my prediction wasn't so good....

Well that game was painful. I knew the long layoff was going to break the Rockies' momentum. MLB should be ashamed at the shoddy scheduling in this year's playoffs.

Rockies would not even make the playoffs if they were in AL East. NL is terrible. I bet Jays would finish ahead of them.

We can't judge the Rockies in this series. Boston is just rolling. Boston did this in 2004, too, where it seems like every time Ortiz and Manny come up, they're going to get a hit.

But the truth is, we are always competitive with the Sox. I don't think these NL teams understand how good the Sox and Yankees are.

As for the Rockies, that jack by Holliday makes him for real. To hit that shot, in that situation, that was special.

Couldn't have agreed more. Prior to the series, I was telling the guys at work that I'd be shocked if this series goes to 5 games. AL ball is a whole new different league.

That series was very disappointing, and boring. I expected a lot better...

I'm just glad it's over. Especially after Game 3. No need to drag this out another few days. Now I can move on comfortably to basketball season.

That was unpleasant. I still think had the Rockies had no more than 2-3 days layoff from the last series, they could have made this one really interesting. However with 8 days off, all of their momentum was gone, and momentum is everything in the playoffs.

I agree, the 8 days off is what killed them.

Royce Clayton and Eric Hinske won the World Series this year. Say that out loud three times.

that had to be one of the most uninteresting world series in recent memory.

I think the Rockies' poor performance was partly due to their long lay off, but I think it had more to do with the fact that the Red Sox were a far superior team in all aspects.

Its equivalent to Matt Bonner winning the 2007 NBA Finals.
