I wonder if he's on PED's?![]()
Charles Cross had a difficult time going up against him on Saturday. He really struggled in that matchup. It's the only reasonable explanation.

Williams is being charged with a felony so I’m pretty much expecting him to be gone for most of the season now. Either by jail or suspension. Luckily they are fairly deep at DE. I expect the rookie Isaiah Land to get more snaps as a pass rusher now.

According to police, the controlled substance charge is for another substance -- not for possession of marijuana -- and is a state jail felony. The unlawful carrying of a weapon is a Class A misdemeanor.
Last December, Williams was involved in an accident not far from the team's practice facility in which his car was totaled. A month later, he was cited for misdemeanor reckless driving and, according to Plano Police, was driving close to 100 mph in a 55 mph zone and weaving through traffic before the accident.

IIRC there we're questions about his character & off the field stuff regarding him leading up to the draft.
He'll definitely face a suspension. Likely 6 games at minimum. Bummer.

That is probably a bigger loss than Overshown. Williams showed some flashes both last season and this preseason and this would have been the year he made himself known. He was our pass rush depth and now that is gone with our two main attacks being Parsons and D-Law and now not much behind them.
Armstrong did have a "decent" year last season hopefully he can take that even further.

The official police report states Williams had a vape pen with synthetic narcotic (controlled substance) and marijuana on his possession. Also in his possession was a glock hand gun with 14 9mm rounds, no front license plate or registration sticker while doing 71 in a 45mph zone. Randy Gregory 2.0

Not good, and you never want that character type on a roster.
HOWEVER, I will say this isn't quite as bad as I presumed. It's bad, don't get me wrong. But I thought he had cocaine and some serious weapons to get cited on weapons in Texas. Also, 71 in a 45 is bad, but it isn't Henry Ruggs bad, and as far as we know he was sober.
I don't even understand why he has a weapon charge having just a pistol. I was under the impression that anyone of legal age could not only own a handgun, but walk around with them in public, no license needed.
