Playing in a game like this seems a bit unnecessary and when you're dealing with Celtics players, you worry about quirky

Have to see with it being "all star game" may not be so bad. I venture to guess it be far better than JT with the Crawsover playing in a ridiculous division 3 college gym

But I read here last year that Tatum going hard in the All Star Game was the reason why the Celtics didn't win.

I would expect Jaylens efficiency to bounce back this year, you’d have to think the three ball rebounds. Obviously he benefits quite a bit from the defensive gameplans being geared around slowing down JT (who will have even more playmaking responsibilities this season) but the Porzingis addition should be huge for JB. When all three of them are on the court together, the offense should be unstoppable, but when Tatum sits, we will be able to run a lot of Jaylen/KP sets, especially DHO’s.
I’d guess Jaylen averages around 24-25/6/3, TS 59/60%.

Agreed.
We already saw the jump in efficiency for Brogdon last season. In Indiana he was THE PG and had to carry a much larger offensive load. Then he comes to Boston and is the 3rd scorer (but with Al, White and Smart...those 4 guys were fairly interchangeable as the 3 through 6 options) and that really helped Brogdon's efficiency, with more room to operate and having weaker defenders on him (as opposed to having the best perimeter defender on him at all times when he was in IND).
Now with KP replacing Smart, Brogdon can be even more efficient (4th option now instead of 3rd option). And the Jays will be more efficient, too. Last season and the season before that, the Jays had to carry quite an offensive load and had defenses loading up on them. Now with Brogdon AND KP to take the pressure off, watch out!
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything

Actually, I’d expect Tatum to have his biggest workload yet, that’s part of the reason they are were willing to trade Smart. Defenses will load up on him regardless, which is we another reason they made the Smart for KP move. If teams are going to load up on Tatum, need to surround him with guys that will make them pay for it.
I think Jaylen/KP will be able to be a pretty decent net positive when out there without Tatum, which will be a nice change for this team.

Looks more like a Kyle Lowry fan if we’re being honest.

Hell yeah. He's getting pumped for the start of the season and is also trying to get his teammates pumped by posting this.
Love it.

Man, love to see these comments from JB. He's really fired up to play defense. I bet he realizes that with Porzingis here, there's now less of a burden he has to carry on offense, so he can focus on defense more.
We don't need him to score 26 PPG now, with KP here. He could just be around 22-23 PPG...which means picking his spots more, taking les shots but higher quality shots so better efficiency.
And with Smart gone, he probably knows everyone needs to step up on D..
The season can't come soon enough!

I wonder if they’re holding their camp elsewhere. I think they did Rhode Island twice in the past. And of course Rome back in 08.
Sixers holding theirs in Colorado. Not sure why.
