he pitched 3 days ago vs the Rays but it wasn't a great start...

why would gibbons sit three of his starters on a night where towers is pitching?

Makes no sense to me to sit 3 starters, one of them being your vet catcher, no doubt a calming presence.

Tommorow night would have been the night to sit them imo.

Towers pitched good enough to earn him another start or two...that's a positive thing on my books.

What about Overbay and Glaus? They both went 0-4 and Glaus had an error (though it shouldn't have been).
