The motherboard looks like over kill you're better off down grading the motherboard to Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX ATX AM5 Motherboard and getting a better CPU like a AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 4.2 GHz 16-Core Processor for less over all cost

Have not seen a ton of info that that the 7950x3d is actually worth the price. I was thinking the 7950 at first, but it seems like a waste of money at this point. I'm fine upgrading my cpu down the line

Those Lian Li fans are so cool looking. I think they're coming out with an LCD screen for the cooler soon, if that's something you'd care about. ETA - they also have a reverse version of the case fans.

Update: after the initial adjustment period for my eyes getting used to 30fps again this has been amazing, why the hell did I put this off for so long. Got gud in the main game and stopped getting dumped on, but now getting dumped on in the DLC lol
Feel like Fromsoft could make soooo much money if they did a 60fps remaster for this game, I know I would pay for it.

Glad you enjoyed it. Phenomenal game. Ludwig just hits differently, that's for sure. OoK (who you'll encounter) is one of From's best fights.

I can't give it a thumbs up or down yet. Have only beaten the first boss and that took me longer than it should have.
I'm looking forward to really being able to customize the mech. Everything seems really loose right now.
Went to bed last night ***this*** close to emailing in today because I really wanted to keep playing. Something has clicked for me. I completed a mission that plays out like a little puzzle that's seemingly tough at first but very simple when you understand where to attack from. The best part is it's replayable and can be finished in a couple minutes. I farmed it for a few hundred thousand credits so I could upgrade my legs. Legs seem very important in this game.
I think I'm gonna end up dumping an absurd amount of hours into this one.

Two very cool thing about ACVI.
One is any equipment you buy can be sold for a full refund. You can play around with endless builds.
And to that end, you can save your builds, and then share them online. I absolutely love this.

Try to attempt the chalice dungeons if you can. The bosses there get nuts.Prez wrote:Prez wrote:Some real good games out this year and here I am 8 years late to the party finally playing Bloodborne lol. Getting dumped on btw, thanks for asking

I finally moved on to Act II of Baldur's Gate 3 after about ~60hrs. I'm at an early location (trying to stay spoiler-free) in the act where I bought a ton of sweet loot off of the traders. Absolutely love the heck out of the game.

Meanwhile I'm finishing up a Xenosaga Episode 1 playthrough. KOSMOS is still cool as hell.

For sure, I only got through a few of them in the first play through, will def go through more in NG+. Just beat the game and Orphan of Kos definitely the toughest boss I saw in the game. Took me about 9 tries but I may have been a bit over leveled (108 with a +10 Rakuyo). I’m sure in NG+ it’ll be insane.

Re: OT: Video Games/Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos
I'm making a point to get every piece of equipment as it becomes available. Made for a lot of grinding in Chapter One but it ended up helping once I made it to the final boss. I probably attempted him ten or 15 times, mostly dicking around with different combinations. Once I found something that worked it was a quick fight.
First boss of Chapter 2 was a different story. Almost beat it on the first attempt, changed my build around and kicked the **** out of him on the second attempt. Now I've got about a dozen new items to grind for.
Really loving this game.

That is really cool. I'm not at all familiar with this franchise, but I do like that!ReasonablySober wrote:Two very cool thing about ACVI.

I knew absolutely nothing about the series before this one. I just trusted that FromSoft would put out a great game. But now that I'm into it I want to go back and not necessarily play the games, but get up to speed on about a dozen games worth of lore.

Re: OT: Video Games/Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos
Yeah, I've been crawling through Act 1. I'm pretty sure I'm in Act II now, however there was no notification that said "Act II," just the warning that I was going on to a new adventure.Sauce Boss wrote:I finally moved on to Act II of Baldur's Gate 3 after about ~60hrs. My only complaint - I spent a ton of time setting up my camp and now everything that was on the ground or in chests in the original camp got dumped into my Travellers Chest. At least it didn't get deleted.

If you have Game Pass, you can buy the Starfield Premium Edition Upgrade for $31.49. It gets you the first expansion upon its release, and gets you five days early access. You can start playing on the 1st as opposed to the 5th.

General Game Pass curiosity - how does this work for if you stop subscribing? It's $32 lost, right? I've never found "official" info on this - suspiciously. I wondered the same thing for Forza Horizon last year.
