I don’t think I’ve ever seen this, they just dribbled out the clock with the game on the line

If they quit it's an absolute disgrace for those who wish to be considered professionals.

If it's a lapse in knowing what the heck is going on at that time in the game it's an absolute disgrace for those who wish to be considered professionals.

Down 5 with 14 seconds is not impossible, but let’s call it implausible. They knew it, accepted it, and moved on. Maybe a more Lebowski-esque approach in times like those is the right decision? White Russian tastes great after a good sweat….

Over under was 160.5 at most brokers and the Sky were favored by 1 to 1.5 points. Still weird to see them act like the game was over with around 15 seconds to go.

I love the W, but this is a bad look. You have to play this situation out.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

Most charitable explanation is that herd mentality took over, players with the ball looked around and since no one else was really playing they assumed there was no reason to continue and stopped too.

Even so, you'd think one of the coaches would be screaming at them to put up a shot.

I have questions about the play as well, but you trying to imply that they're not professionals is hilariously stupid.

Mods, i would request not to move garbage threads from the GB to the WNBA forum, it's just an echo chamber for the garbage ass dudes on this website to act like Neanderthals. I don't care if there's only 5 of us talking about the W, it's better than bringing these sh*theads and their misogyny on here.

Reports are best for this. Thanks for looking out, appreciate it.

If they're giving up with that much time in the game only down two possessions, or not conscious of the time in the game, they aren't very good at being professionals.

Let's stay on topic, thanks.

We can speculate, even criticize the incident without dismissing the W or making wholesale generalizations from one game.
