How many Kareem seasons over ‘67 Wilt?
Just looking at some stats and Wilt’s numbers that year are insane. Was Kareem even capable of playing of that way or was he ever more impactful for a single season?

Probably 77 (74 is close with 1967 imo, 71/72 could suffice).
From what it seems, Kareem is the more effective floor-raiser (being an amazing ceiling raiser, in theory as well) whereas Wilt in 1967 might have had the best ceiling raising effort of all time in an era-relative sense. Taking a +4 core of players (perhaps worse, I’m just going off the post-trade 1969 baseline here) to SRS levels that parallel Russ’ best Celtics teams (+8 or so, an absolute anomaly) by being an offensive hub with GOAT-levels of play finishing / connecting guard play and shooting - while being Philly’s defense.
Kareem’s scoring wasn’t as efficient (albeit translating a lot better due to Wilt’s FT shooting) - but the combination of scoring volume/efficiency/gravity dragged a very mediocre Lakers cast to respectable heights. He’s surely a few levels below that of a Wilt, Duncan, KG, Nate, Walton, Hakeem on defense - but still a very formidable paint force. Kareem being decisive and economical with his scoring too would allow him to scale down well with all of his game considered as well.
Both amazing players. Aside from James, Jordan, Duncan - 5 of my top 8 peaks (Fringe Goat+ level) are centers. Gun to my head, I’d rank:
• Kareem
• Shaq
• Hakeem
• Russell
• Wilt

Good post , so you still lean Kareem due to his scoring aggression and volume?
I think the comparison may somewhat be like what we saw what Jokic this year,
Wilt seems ti be a clearly better playmaker, rebounder and defender

I'd say kareem's advantaged as a creator too.

I'll take 1977 Kareem > 67 Wilt. I think any season from '71-74 has an argument too

All the prime seasons where Kareem is healthy.

Re: How many Kareem seasons over ‘67 Wilt?
It's quite possible zero in terms of impact. I think what opens the door is Wilt's really poor ft shooting that year(really from 67 on) So if a team needs a #1 scoring option then 74, 77 and maybe a couple other years of Kareem are there for debate. All of this would be easier if we had more stats and other stuff for these type of seasons though.
