The New York Mets are making major changes to their front office, according to a report.
The club will likely hire a new president of baseball operations this offseason and has fired a number of employees, including long-term ones, such as pro scouting director Jeff Lebow, farm director Kevin Howard and several others.
It appears as though Billy Eppler is safe for now.
Steve Cohen has repeatedly confirmed plans to hire a president of baseball operations who would outrank Eppler as general manager.
